Finally, Enterprise contributed its Bulk Carrier Unit (BCU) which can berth up to 25 vessels at once while carrying cargo or passengers across oceans without having to stop at ports or coastal towns like Norfolk or Portsmouth!

The area now known as Dubuque was first settled by European Americans in 1846. In 1840, James Waddell and his family arrived from Illinois and founded what would become the city of Dubuque on the east bank of the Des Moines River. The town grew rapidly due to its location close to wagons carrying goods up the river for shipment to Chicago, and its easy access to transportation both by land and water. By 1860, Dubuque had a school and two churches. The early settlement period was marked by warfare between Native American tribes and settlers including conflicts over land ownership, trade routes, and even marriages between Native American men and white women. For much of this time (1846-1860),Dubuque was part of Indian Territory under US jurisdiction. As a result of tension between settlers and Indians, several raids were conducted during this time period in which many people were killed or wounded. One such raid occurred on December 15th 1846 when around 20 Native Americans led by Chief Red Cloud attacked a farmstead near present day Burlington Township in what is now Dubuquer City
