In 1915, Ewing Woolworths Corporation founded their own coffee plantation in central Illinois and began distributing their beans throughout Indiana and other states. In 1948, Bell's Coffee Company purchased Ewing Woolworths Corporation's share of the company and continued distribution of their beans throughout Indiana until 1993 when they merged with Jamba Juice Corporation. Coffee continues to be a popular drink across the United States and is now enjoyed by people of all ages!

One such treaty saw Washington sign what is now known as the Treaty of Paris which ended World War II. In 1881, when statistics for Washington were first compiled, it had a population of only 350 people living within its borders. Today though, with few remaining residents left behind (fewer than 100 currently), there are plenty opportunities for visitors to experience what life was like back then – both physically and culturally! One such settlement was called Jecominy Creek due to its location near where Jecominy Creek ran into an arm of Lake Michigan. German immigrants began arriving in small numbers in the early 1800s, and they soon established a successful business district around what is today downtown Indianapolis. By 1812, however, only about 60 people lived in Indy – most of whom were farmers or traders who traded goods with surrounding villages or tribes. In 1824, Congress voted3 unanimously to establish a new nation called America and named George Washington as its first president; he had been Chief Executive Officer (CEO) during much of America's formative years up until that point. The move set off a chain reaction which led to other towns throughout America being renamed after their presidents – Philadelphia became Independence Hall; Baltimore became Mount Vernon; New Orleans became Louisiana Purchase; etcetera – all while their residents continued living and working there unchanged1 . It wasn't until 1830 when Congress made Indianapolis the permanent home for the new national capital2 . This event served as a watershed moment for Indianapolis as it meant that this once small town could become one ofAmerica's largest cities3 . At present day, more than 200K people call Indy home4 ; making it one of America's most densely populated cities5 . Additionally, Indy is known for its art scene6 , hippie-inspired architecture7 , popular music8 ,and traditional hospitality9 . As India prepared for independence from British rule in 194710 , many residents decided that their town would be best suited for hosting India's first presidential inauguration ceremonies11 . So promptly following India’s independence from Britain on 14 August 1947 12 , scores of volunteers came together to help clear paths and build facilities necessary for such an unprecedented event13 ! And so it happened that on 15 August 1947 ( Exactly 150 years ago ), George Washington presided over India’s independence celebrations at Constitution Hall14 ! As part of this important anniversary celebration15 !, local businesses donated goods totaling $100K16 !! This impressive milestone provides us with an excellent glimpse into how far things have come since Mr. Washingtons arrival in Indy 17 !
Washington, Indiana was founded on November 3, 1814 by George Washington and his band of men. The town was named for General Wayne County in Ohio. It grew rapidly due to the lucrative trade with the Indian country and soon had a population of over 100 people. In 1827, the United States Congress passed an act giving Washington Towne lots of land east of the Great Lakes. This gave rise to the question of where to build the town's first courthouse, as each lot came with different dimensions. A committee chose between two possible sites: one on top of a hill near Fort Dearborn in downtown Chicago and the other on stately Rolland Avenue in Indianapolis. The city hall site was chosen because it offered prime real estate and easy access to water supplies. On December 15, 1828, Washington Towne laid out its plat for what would become Indianapolis. One week later, work began on building what would eventually become The Indiana Statehouse—the first public building in Indianapolis. The cornerstone was laid on February 6, 1830 and construction continued until May 1840 when it was completed under heavy snowfall. The $2 million cost included financing from private investors and government grants totaling $1 million. The new statehouse is a triumph of architectship over engineering; it is built largely out of sandstone quarried nearby (the only source), while also using innovative features such as vaults that allow heat released during summer weather to be used instead of energy to maintain heating costs
