Shelbyville is a city in Shelby County, Indiana, United States. The population was 14,728 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Shelby County. The area that became Shelbyville was first settled by English colonists in the early 17th century. The town was founded on the site of what is now known as Indian Hill and grew slowly throughout the 18th century because of its remote location and lack of transportation options. In 1812, General Anthony Wayne's army destroyed a Shawnee village near present-day Shelbyville in what is considered to be one of the most significant battles in American history. This event led to increased development around Shelbyville, which began to attract settlers in the late 1800s. By 1900, over 60% of all businesses in town were owned by white men. In 1907, voters passed a local option sales tax referendum that allowed for annexation by Indianapolis; this annexation created new neighborhoods within Shelbyville and made it easier for people from outside the city to get involved in its growth. After World War II ended, much economic growth took place due to resurgent manufacturing within Indiana; this growth led to increasing unemployment rates among residents and led to increases in housing prices throughout Shelbyville. In recent decades, however, job opportunities have become more scarce and expensive within Shelbyvill

It was only after exploration and discovery of new countries that coffee started to spread to other parts of the world. In 1847, coffee beans were brought back to America by an American sailor, James K. Polk. This event is considered to be the beginning of the coffee industry. By 1830, coffee had reached Europe and North America. It was during this time that people started to make different types of coffees based on their personal preferences and what they could find in their local markets. The Dutch introduced roasteries into Java in 1602 and began production of medium-bodied Indonesian coffees which became well known throughout the Netherlands, England, France, Germany, Italy and Spain respectively. Many times different regions would have specific preferences for different types of coffees such as Italian roast with chocolate or Guatemalan strong dark roast with peppermint extract etcetera etcetera (see here for more about coffee). By 1850 brewing techniques had improved so much that even small amounts of caffeine could be produced from beans - making it an ideal drink for soldiers on long marches or sailors on long voyages who needed a boost before bedtime (although at this point most people still drank water). However due to prohibition efforts certain areas could not produce enough beans so instead some blends were created including Colombian blend (which contains both blackstrap molasses and jackfruit), Mexican blend (made up mostly of Central American beans), Ethiopian rteffe (from Tigre Province) - all these blends being offered commercially until World War II when roasted gourmet Coffees became scarce again because Of Prohibition efforts!

Shelbyville is a small town in central Indiana, United States. The population was 2,813 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Evansville metropolitan area. The town was founded by entrepreneur James Shelby in 1812 as a trading post on the then-unexplored bank bottom of the White River. In 1814, he donated land to establish what is now Shelbyville Township. The first store and post office were built in 1865; the first school opened in 1870. In 1886, James Shelby donated another piece of land to create what is now North Side Township; this township also included present-day Shelbyville. The town's name comes from Revolutionary War General Andrew Jackson's home near which it was located (the home still stands). During World War II, much of Shelbyville was bombed by American forces during the Battle of Midway; most buildings were destroyed or heavily damaged but many remained standing including downtown government center and several churches. Today, all but two buildings remain standing from that period: one burned down in the early 2000s while repairs were being made to it and replaced with a new building, and another structure collapsed due to code violations in 2006 but has since been repaired and reopened as an art museum/gallery complex known as "Theatre Row". In 1957, when Central High School became schools for both Evansville public Schools District No 811 and Central Valley School District No 911 (later renamed Central Muskegon County Community Schools), Shelbyville had its only secondary school open until Pleasant View Middle School opened nearby in 1987–1988 after being closed by Central HSD for lack of students. In 1984 local businessman John Aiken started developing what would become North Side Township into an apartment community named Park Place while also providing services such as lawn care and construction materials required for development such as roads, sidewalks, water mains etc.; Park Place would eventually be sold to developers Harry & Louise Pappas who renamed it Anthem Village which would eventually become Villa Park before finally becoming Villa Park Heights which remains today once again serving as our municipal seat with over 1 million residents within its boundaries making it one of largest villages within Indiana without having any commercial districts other than its own municipal seat where business does take place
Shelbyville was founded in 1827 by James Shelby and his wife, Rachel. The town was named after General Andrew Jackson, who died in 1837. The first store in Shelbyville opened in 1828. The town developed around a cotton gin and other mills that produced cloth and flour for local farmers. In the 1840s, the LaFayette County courthouse was built on the corner of Third Street and Main Street. In 1852, a post office was established in Shelbyville, and it remained open until 1971. During the Civil War, Shelbyville sided with Union forces over Confederate troops. After the war, many small-scale businesses were destroyed by Union forces or burned down by Confederate raiders. A primary factor behind this destruction was low income combined with demand for goods from war-torn areas. In 1865, President Abraham Lincoln issued an executive order providing for Reconstruction in America following the end of the Civil War; this Order led to business growth within Shelbyville as families brought their resources back into society.
