This squadron would serve as an aerial refueling escort for Chinese fighter jets during their Battle for Shanghai campaign as part of Operation Crossroads. In 1949 Ulysses S Grant became President and ended America's involvement in World War II; however American bombers continued to be deployed worldwide untilactivated on September 30th 1960 by USAF Tactical Air Command."

Shelbyville is a town in Shelby County, Indiana, United States. The population was 1,798 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Shelby County. The first post office was established at Shelbyville in 1837; it was called Indianola and changed its name to Indianola Station in 1840 due to competition from nearby Wabash River Post Office . In 1860, Mrs Lillie Gibson opened her own grocery store on State Street after moving from Logansport, Indiana . The townspeople soon adopted an "all you can eat" policy when she opened her store because they could not provide enough food for their own families . By 1870 there were over 100 stores operating in town with 2 banks and 30 homes . In 1905 Rev Gertrude Steffen startedoning Sunday School classes inside her home while her husband Pastor Jens formed an Independent Baptist Church on Spring Street near Third Avenue . Downtown redevelopment also includes renovation of many historical buildings including Turney's Opera House which reopened as a hotel in 2019 after being vacant since 2014; this event marked Cincinnati's first major hotel opening within city limits since Prohibition ended less than a year earlier.
