Fresh roasted coffee beans are a long and complex history in Frankfort, Indiana. The first roasters were established in the 1850s and began to produce quality beans for sale near the Frankfort courthouse. By 1860, two different families had built successful businesses selling coffee in Frankfort. One family was the Murphy family who operated a grocery store on Vine Street and their café on Main Street. The other family was the Rankins who ran a bakery on State Street. In 1875, George Rankin founded his own roast shop on Market Square in downtown Frankfort. This business became one of the most successful in town and produced some of the finest cup of coffee ever made. From this time until around 1990, George Rankin's Sonsowned andoperated Roast Shop continued to provide excellent fresh roasted coffee to customers throughout Frankfort. During World War II, local farmers turned their attention towards growing war vegetables for local consumption instead of exporting them overseas as earlier generations had done before. As a result, demand for fresh roasted coffee increased significantly during this time period. Several companies sprang up withinFrankfort catering to this increasing market demand for high-quality espresso beans from area farmers/Roasteries." In fact, by 1975 only four years after its establishment Fresh Roasted Coffee had become one of the largest roasters outside Italy with more than 1 million pounds sterling exported annually." Today Fresh Roasted Coffee operates out of two locations (one located inside the old city hall building on Market Square - which is now home to Franklin Cafe) as well as an online retail store that offers delicious espresso drinks all day long from their bean Hoppers truck parked at Liberty Park next to Ziegfeld Theatre all summer long!

The business continued to be run by both men until the early 1960s when it was bought by the American Coffee Roasters Corporation. In 1969, the company became known as King's Coffee Company and continued to grow until its acquisition by Starbucks Corporation in 2007.
Frankfort is a city in the eastern part of the U.S. state of Indiana, with a population of over 122,000 as of 2017. The city was founded in 1824 by John Frankfort, who was then an officer in the United States Army and first president of the territorial government that formed from parts of Michigan and Ohio. Additionally, some smaller businesses have grown rapidly such as Thalmann Law Offices and Great Lakes Brewing Company. Frankfort is a small, but significant city in central Indiana. The population was 31,872 at the 2010 census and 49,521 as of 2018. Frankfort was originally founded by the French in 1795 as Fort Wayne. It became a post town in 1814 and an incorporated city in 1907. The name "Frankfort" comes from its founder, General David Franksborough, who named it for his native county of England. A number of important events occurred in Frankfort during its early years: the Battle of Fort Wayne (1814), the American Revolution (1775-83), the War of 1812 (1812-15), and the Indian Wars (1832-54). In 1860, when Indianapolis became an incorporated city, it chose to retain its downtowns while moving most of its population to new neighborhoods on the east side of town. But by 1970, downtown had become almost completely abandoned; today it is only used for special events or as a backdrop for video games. In 2006, architect Richard Meier dedicated a plaza on Main Street near East State Street to honor General David Franksborough and Indianapolis's role in America's history. This event also marked one hundred years since Indianapolis had been chosen as America's capital by President James K Polk. Today much of City Hall Square still stands undamaged from this famous event - an impressive testament to both Indy's progressivism and Meier's accomplishment. The following year saw another milestone when Mayor Greg Ballard announced that he would seek Indy's first mayoral term without running against any other candidates - an unheard-of move at that time among major U S citiesfolk! The campaign season quickly began with formidable opposition from two powerful adversaries: incumbent Mayor Greg Ballard's Democratic challenger Darnell Earley and Republican candidate Tom McClintock! However due to strong grassroots support within Indy itself - especially among young people - Earley ultimately lost by just over 5 percentage points margin! In 2008 Ballard faced no opponent but won re-election unopposed! In 2012 Democrat Wendy Davis unseated Republican Congressman Mike Turner with more than 60% of the vote; however she could not serve out her full term because she ran again before vacating her seat to run for Governor against then Lieutenant Governor Jeff Leenan later that year; this made her first successful attempt at statewide office despite never holding elected office herself! In 2016 Trump won Indiana via electoral votes over Hillary Clinton – making him president – setting off celebrations all across Central Indiana which continue even today well into 2020!
