Today there are many museums located within or near downtown Evansville that trace its history dating back to before then such as The First National Bank Museum which features artifacts from pre-war Evansville along with exhibits about local businesses that were part of those days such as Jiffy Lube oil station or Indianola Bottled Water Plant & Cafe that both closed down but left behind valuable archived materials such as their lunchroom signs! There are also several large shopping malls located close by including one just east of Downtown called "The Glen" which opened up in 2007 adjacent to Purdue University campus making it one giantenterprise focused mall containing nearly 400 stores inside 6 massive buildings! Lastly there is also "The Vineyard", a historic farmstead situated north east of downtown that offers tours/views from atop some very high windows overlooking portions of Indianapolis!
