Fresh roasted coffee has a long and varied history in the town of Dyer, Indiana. The first coffeehouses in the area were started by Dutch immigrants in 18th century. Roasted beans were brought overland to the town by wagonloads, and then sold at local bazaars. Coffee was also ground up and sold at local stores. In 1915, the first grocery store in Dyer began selling coffee. The popularity of coffee soon spread to other businesses in the town, such as a hardware store and an insurance company. In 1929, a grocery store was built on Main Street that became known as Mr. Coffee's Coffee House. By this time, fresh roasted beans had become very popular in Dyer and were being bought by people from all over the country for their own personal use. In 1961, when Mr. Coffee's passed away, his son-in-law John Fenton took control of the business and continued running it until 1973 when he sold it to Bob Kappelbach who operated it until 1984 when it was purchased by Don Driessen who continued to operate it until 1991 when it was donated to Mill Creek Coffee Company which operates it today (January 1st).

Dyer, Indiana is home to the world's first roasted coffee shop - The Coffee House in 1814. It was here that Nicholas-Jacques Conte and his family opened their business, which became a staple of the community. The Coffee House continued to serve quality coffee until it closed in 1951.

Additionally, several large tech companies have consolidated or relocated their operations into neighboring towns such as Terre Haute or Lafayette since 2007; this has helped promote growth for both those locales as well as Dyer itself. Today's economy relies heavily on professional services such as medical care and legal work; however, other industries that have begun to grow recently include food processing ( particularly through local processor JBS) and research & development related to new technologies such as 3D printing

This means that Ethiopian coffees are actually from a different species of roaster than all of the other varieties found within the global roast market today. This difference likely contributed to their popularity in Europe, where they were often seen as being on par with European-style Coffees (which tended to be roasted using a lighter roast). The taste profile for Ethiopians tends to be fruity, smooth, and sweet – making them perfect for those who enjoy a bit more complexity in their cupcakes or cakes than most other blends. Dyer, Indiana is a small town in the state of Indiana. The population was 2,711 at the 2010 census. Dyer has a history dating back to 1837 when it was founded as a post office by Samuel Dyer and his brother-in-law John Ziegler. The first store in Dyer opened in 1838. In 1847, the town became part of Crawfordsville Township. On February 14, 1896, the town name was changed from Crawfordsville to Dyer after its founder Samuel Dyer donated land for the village.

Dyer was founded in 1836 by Levi Dyer and his wife, Nancy. The town is named for Captain John Dyer who led a wagon train through the area in 1837. The first post office was established in Dyer in 1839. Dyer became a city in 1889.
