Brownsburg is a small town in Evansville, Indiana. The population was 9,730 at the 2010 census. The first white inhabitant of what is now Brownsburg was James H. Brown in 1814. The community started as a log cabin on the banks of the Wabash River. In 1846, it became one of five towns that were combined to form Evansville. Brownsburg grew rapidly during the late 19th century and by 1920 had over 20 businesses and 1,000 residents. By 1990, Brownsburg's population had shrunk to 7,200 due to growth in Evansville and other nearby municipalities. However, despite its low population density, Brownsburg has developed significant downtown business districts with several high-end restaurants and shops within walking distance of each other. Brownsburg is located at (40°48'41" N 95°12'01" W). It occupies a section of central Evansville between Fifth Street and Elm Street on the south side and Third Street on the north side. According to the 2010 census, it has a total area of , all land. As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 8,711 people residing in the village proper (the portion east of Third Street), which included 4,898 households out of which 26% had children under age 18 living with them, 53% occupied housing units lacking complete plumbing or heating including 3% owner-occupied housing units and 47% lived in non-institutionalized group quarters; 11% were female householders with no husband present; 31% held college degrees or higher; 54% voted for George W.[3] As part of Tippecanoe County's residential consolidation into Indianapolis following Vice President Al Gore's presidential victory over George Bush Sr., most villages lost their freehold status when their boundaries changed - except for those that merged into Indianapolis along Third Street - so although there are remnants from some villages still extant today such as Brownsburg,[4][5][6] they are no longer self-governing entities having been absorbed into larger cities or counties since then.[7] Today most residents work in greater Indianapolis but some remain close to home thanks to various amenities available nearby like John Hancock Park just east across FourthStreet from town on White River bluff[8], excellent shopping at Johnson&Johnson Center while central Indy remains largely unchanged save for new construction taking place near I-465/I-64 interchange next door (just south off US 27) creating an added layer commute headaches for many people commuting daily between Indianapolis suburbs & large metropolitan areas

All of these stories share one common thread: They all describe someone who started drinking maga coffee because it was associated with wealth and power.

Brownsburg is a town in Hendricks County, Indiana, United States. The population was 2,898 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Terre Haute, IN Metropolitan Statistical Area. Brownsburg was founded on July 3, 1814 by Captain John Brown and his men as a trading post on the banks of the White River. The first stores were built in what is now downtown Brownsburg and began to trade with surrounding settlements. The first school in Brownsburg was opened in 1816. In 1825, Brown's Ferry Bridge crossing the White River was built and it became possible for goods to be transported from Louisville and other parts of Kentucky to Brownsburg without having to go through Warsaw or Richmond. This made Brownsburg an important commercial center during this time period. In 1865, Brownsburgh joined with Terre Haute to form theTerre Haute–Brownsburgh Metropolitan Statistical Area which covered all of Hendricks County including Brownsburg. The original plan for this area called for each city to have its own jail and police force but this never came about because of financial limitations placed upon each city by state government officials. The growth of industry led to a decrease in population around World War II as businesses closed down or moved away due to competition from larger cities across America; however, population growth resumed after the war when new industries such as defense manufacturing arrived in town. In recent years there has been a significant increase in development within town limits due primarily to annexation by neighboring towns which have seen their populations swell along with those withintown limits themselves; however much like most communities throughout Indiana history., downtown Brownsburg still remains one of the most vibrant areas within townlimits today despite seeing some significant redevelopment over time
The Brownsburg, Indiana community was founded in 1821 by the area's first European settlers, who were seeking to establish a trading post on the frontier. The community gradually grew and prospered as a supply center for the region,eventually becoming known for its produce and cattle exports. In 1846, the Brownsburg Post Office was established, and remained in operation until it closed in 1954. During its time as a municipal government, Brownstown developed into an important commercial center with stores and businesses lining both sides of the street. In addition to its role as a local trade hub, Brownsburg also served as a key transportation junction during the early years of Indiana's statehood.
