Anderson, Indiana is a small town in the heart of the Hoosier State. It is known for its Agricultural and Horticultural industries, as well as its high school football program and basketball team. The population of Anderson was 1,611 at the 2000 census and it has since increased to 2,193 according to the 2010 census. The town is located in Clay County on the Eastern border of Indiana. The first settler in what is now Anderson was James Hargrave who arrived there in 1824. He named his new land "Hargrave's Purchase" after himself and his father-in-law, John Hargrave. In 1830, another pioneer family, the Franks moved from Ohio to take up land around what is now Anderson. They were followed by other families until all but three of the original settlers had left by 1845 when a fire destroyed much of their property in a flash flood. In 1865, an act was passed which created Clay County by combining all of present day Clay, Porter and Vanderburgh counties into one county. This act also provided for grant money for township erection and designated Anderson Township as its first addition. Anderson Township was organized on November 3rd 1868 when Wm Fenton became its first township trustee along with David Browning who served as treasurer/manager from 1870-1879 and 1880-1885 respectively. On November 9th 1871 Isaac Nolen became township trustee with Wm Saucier serving as executive officer until he died suddenly on October 12th 1872 at only 36 years old leaving behind him two children - wife Sarah ( April 6th 1870 – May 20th 1930) and son Josephine (August 14th 1893 – September 16th 1987). Mrs Saucier continued to serve as township trustee until her death some time after that date; however due to term limits she could not serve more than 4 terms consecutively before she ran out of time limit set by state law at that time To commemorate Mr Saucier’s memory trustees placed a plaque within walking distance of his home which still remains today

Consequently, many early cultures believed that cold drinks were better than hot ones because they were refreshing on an empty stomach. By the 17th century AD, coffee had spread throughout most of Europe and it was also becoming popular in Asia. In 1692 Englishman John Evelyn discovered new sources of roasted beans in Java and roasting them at his own plantation made him the world’s first millionaire through tea production alone! Coffee became more popular throughout the world with its smooth flavor which continues to this day.
Maga coffee began as a small-scale operation in the town of Maga, in central Java, in the early 1900s. The first farmers who grew maga beans were subsistence farmers who roasted and brewed their own coffee for their family's use. In the 1940s, a group of Dutch entrepreneurs set up a small mill in Maga to produce maga beans. They used local resources, such as water and soil, to grow and roast the beans. In the 1970s, another group of Dutch entrepreneurs set up a large coffee plantation in Maga that became one of Indonesia's leading commercial growers and manufacturers of coffee. In 1992, Indonesia nationalized all private coffee plantations and placed them under state control.
Anderson is an unincorporated community in Grant County, Indiana. It is located on the west side of theGrant River, about southeast of Fort Wayne. The post office was established at Anderson on July 1, 1868, and remained in operation until it closed on November 15, 1951. The first settler in Anderson was Captain John Naylor, who arrived from Canada in 1825 and built a cabin near the present site of town. A stagecoach stop called "Naylor's Grove" served as the original village center; passengers would disembark at what is now the intersection of State Road 36 and State Road 9W before continuing their journey north to Fort Wayne. In 1829 livestock rustlers named John Hennessey and James Hardin plunderedAnderson settlers during a period of drought that followed a severe winter. In 1841 local landowner Eli Whitney organized a township committee to survey township boundaries; he named the new township after his friend-turned-foe Presbyterian minister David Tilton (1795–1864). On May 8, 1847 President James K. Polk appointed Thaddeus Stevens (1795–1871), one of America's most prominent senators from New York City and then Mayor of New York City (1848–51), as territorial governor of Indiana Territory; Stevens succeeded Territorial Governor Ebenezer Sherman (1802–04) after Sherman resigned because he had been appointed acting territorial governor by Polk following Sherman's dismissal as U.S. attorney general due to charges of bribery and corruption while serving as Ulysses S. Grant's secretary of war under Lincoln administration In November 1850 federal troops burned down buildings within Anderson Township limits while dispersing a party loyal to Territorial Governor David Wills; Wills subsequently regained control over the territory and restored order The first school building in Anderson was erected in 1860 at what is now northwest corner lot numbered 61st Street and 5th Avenue; this small frame structure served for several years before being replaced by another school building which also served briefly as an armory In 1865 public schools were opened in all three townships within Grant County except for Craig where only private schools existed In 1902 Anderson became part of Fort Wayne when that city became operational ; however public school instruction continued throughout much of Granger County until 1943 when that county formed its own educational system Anderson residents voted two times during Prohibition era to provide transportation service between fortwayne andAnderson so local farmers could purchase needed supplies without going throughshipments point east However these proposals never received serious consideration because Fort Wayne authorities felt they would not be able to adequately police such an important crossroads

However, during the 20th century Anderson struggled to keep up with the growing municipalities throughout Indiana. In 1970, Anderson merged with neighboring Fort Wayne to form the current metropolitan area known as Indianapolis-Fort Wayne.
