He also sold new guns and ammo to customers who had owned their previous weapons for any length of time. His store became known as one of the most popular destination for shooters in all of America during those years! Over time, other businesses followed suit within the shooter community in Vernon Hills. These businesses continued to sell firearms and Ammunition until around 1930 when they too went out of business due to prohibitionism in America. It wasn't until 1949 that another firearm dealership opened up within walking distance of Brownell's original store location on Pulaski Rd., which made it possible for shooters across the city to purchase firearms without having to travel far! Today, Vernon Hills is still home to some of the most popular firearm retailers in Chicago – including several that specialize exclusively in selling guns specifically designed for target shooting or hunting!
