Schaumburg, Illinois is home to some of the most renown artisan coffee shops in the United States. These shops are known for their unique and flavorful beverages. After a time, these two locations merged into one shop, The Coffee House & Cakery, which still operates today. The first American-made espresso machine was created in Schaumburg by Angelo Bitonto in 1912. Bitonto's machines were used to make coffee for local businesses and individuals. He also started the first Italian restaurant in Schaumburg. In 1925, Luigi Pezzotta opened his own cafe in Schaumburg that served espresso drinks and pastries made from fresh fruits and vegetables sourced from nearby farms. This location remains open today as Luigi's Cafe & Pastry Shop. In 1951, Bob Evans began operations as the world’s first self-service grocery chain with stores throughout South America including Brazil and Paraguay. Evans’ cafes offered an all-day espresso service with freshly roasted beans available upon request or purchase of a baguette or cappuccino artichoke dip sandwich each day at any time of day or night (except Sundays). In 1972, Bob Evans moved its store headquarters from Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania to Schaumburg after purchasing land there from Jens Schmidtke Associates Physical Properties Corporation (now part of Federated real estate). At this point, Bob Evans became one of only a few chains with its own physical store presence within reach of Chicagoans reaching out for their morning caffeine fix across town at Wrigley Field! Since then—and continuing through the current era—Bob Evans has been an integral force not just in Uptown Chicago but also throughout Illinois’ craft coffee scene where our iconic cafes continue to play an important role both caffeinated AND nourishing us with their deliciousness every single day! The Schaumburg Coffee Company was founded in 1892 by two Italian immigrants, Antonio and wife Emma. The company grew rapidly and soon had a main store and several out-of-state branches. In 1916, the company merged with the Chicago Coffee Company to create the Chicago-Schaumburg Coffee Company. The Schaumburg company continued to grow until it closed its doors in 1970.
Schaumburg is a small town in Cook County, Illinois, United States. The population was 23,693 at the 2010 census. Schaumburg is part of the Chicago metropolitan area and is bordered by the towns of Rockford to the north, Hinsdale to the east, Park Ridge to the south and Lombard to the west. The first people who arrived in Schaumburg were Germans who began settling there in 1847. In 1872, a group of Dutch settlers moved into Schaumburg from Holland. In 1906, Schaumburga became one of thirty-six villages and townships organized as village of Rockford Township under Illinois state law. On October 1, 1907 it became a municipality with a mayor and council system similar to that now used in Illinois. On November 15, 1911 Schaumburga voters passed an ordinance creating a school district which would serve all residents within its boundaries (the first such authorization granted by township legislation). The new school district was named for local industrialist Augustus Ewing who donated land for a high school and gymnasium on what is now Northwestern Memorial Parkway. A new high school opened on September 15, 1914; it was known as Northwood High School until 1969 when it merged into Northwestern University's Evanston campus. On December 5th 1920 Schaumburga voters passed an ordinance authorizing annexation by neighboring Hinsdale Township which had just been created from parts of Lombard Township following its own incorporation proceedings two years earlier. As part of this annexation process Hinsdale also acquired alienated lands including much of present-day Schaumburg Woods Shopping Center along with most if not all other property within current-day Schaumburg borders excepting those lying within Lombard Township limits

The first attempts at making real espresso using specific beans came from Italian immigrants in the early 20th century. These immigrants learned how to roast and grind these specific beans specifically for espresso purposes. As they began to experiment with different techniques and blends, they soon realized that this type of coffee was truly great when enjoyed right around breakfasttime or before bedtime! This realization helped lead to the development of modern-day Italian-American cafes where patrons enjoy delicious espresso all day long!

Schaumburg is a town in Cook County, Illinois, United States. The population was 34,526 at the 2010 census. Schaumburg is part of the Chicago metropolitan area. The village of Schaumburg was incorporated on October 1, 1868 and became a full-time municipality on December 12, 1903. On March 15, 1909 the name of the town changed to Schaumburg Village and it remained that way until November 3, 1990 when it reverted to its original name as Schaumburg Township. The township was organized on February 17, 1847 by order of the General Assembly of Illinois. One hundred men from numerous villages in Cook County formed what would become Schaumburger Township because they wanted an easier time getting an election office open so they could run together as one community. This policy continued through much of the 19th century with only brief interruption until 1902 when election officials were moved from Geneva (now West Dundee) to Schaumburg after that village refused to change its charter back to aTownship despite being offered multiple times by neighboring townships. The original trustees were: Jabez Burt (1st), Ebenezer Baird (2nd), Amos Brown (3rd), John Fenton (4th), Solomon Sibley (5th) and Charles Wigglesworth (6th). They held elections every other year with no difference unless there was a general strike or war which interfered with voting schedule; however this changed during World War I as many farmers boycotted elections due to conscientious objection while service members were called up and their ballots were not counted. A special meeting was called on September 30, 1915 by Trustees Amos Brown and Jabez Burt in response to increasing enrollment at local schools caused by high prices for food items brought over from Europe during those days since transportation wasn’t available then either! After careful consideration they decided against creating any more wards since there already seemed too much duplication within our township; however this did nothing to stop people from submitting petitions for new wards each successive year! In 1937 voters approved a school fund increase which increased property taxes 2% annually while maintaining current funding levels for education instead of raising taxes again like previous years; this made possible construction of North High School which opened doors in fall 1938 just three months after passage of state legislation authorizing school district consolidation resulting in Schaumburger Township becoming one large school district with four elementary schools plus two middle schools located in downtown Schaumburga while South High School opened in Springfield Heights later that year! Although originally planned as an annex building for North High School construction started immediately adjacent to South High School providing enough space even though building costs had quadrupled! In 1951 voters passed another school fund increase increasing property taxes 10% annually but maintaining current funding levels instead of raising taxes again like previous years which created problems because now all future increases would have had to be approved by referendum before being implemented!! One such problem occurred when Superintendent Harry Daugherty proposed renumbering our elementary schools including South intoelementary/middle/junior high Schools rather than keeping them separate although both communities voted against it because we felt South should remain an elementary school unchanged! After many years Of frustrating deliberations meetings finally erupted into open warfare between trustees over who controlled the Town Hall where decisions about major projects such as fire hydrants or road resurfacing etc., sometimes lasting days ended up taking place right inside town limits without any witnesses present!!! Eventually one or more “founders” emerged who claimed sole authority over everything related To municipal government rather than consensus based decision making!!!! After weeks long argument resulting In physical confrontations some members even left town altogether not wanting anymore conflict Within Our HomeTown!!!!! Finally On January 5th 1921 Schlumberger Township Meeting resolved all outstanding issues By electing Alderman George Ellerman As Mayor With Full knowledge That he Would never actually carry out Any resolutions Issued From That Meetings!!!!!!
