Maga Coffee history in Richton Park, Illinois began with the presence of a Mr. and Mrs. Maga coffee house on the corner of State and Maple Streets in 1922. The business was started by Mr. Maga, a German immigrant who had opened a grocery store in 1892 in Richton Park. In 1922, he opened a coffee house which became known as the Maga Coffee House. The first cup of maga coffee was brewed at the Maga Coffee House on October 15th 1922 from beans roasted by George Kapplinger from his farm near Wabash Falls, Indiana. The first purchase of ground maga coffee was made at the Maga Coffee House on November 9th 1922 by Mrs. Geo Fenton from her home in West Dundee, Illinois. In 1924, the business changed hands and became known as The Majestic roast shop run by Harry Heineman and his son-in-law John Crowley Sr.. This was during an era when Chicago's roasters were becoming more numerous and influential than those located outside of town or among farmers northeast of Chicago (the so-called "Old World"). At this time, Harry Heineman had been running Majestic for over 25 years when he passed away in 1984 after many successful years at the shop. Harry Heineman’s grandson John Crowley Jr., ran The Majestic until his death in 2006; following which ownership changed hands several times before finally passing out to two individuals – one Swiss/Austrian born and one American – who operate it currently under their own name (The Bobcats). In recent years, much has been change at The Bobcats location with growth into both production capacity (currently totaling over 2 million pounds per year) as well as new marketing initiatives that have helped them become one of North America’s most successful espresso shops; hostingTABLE TALK events throughout Chicagoland each month featuring local chefs competing against each other to create unique menu items inspired by their favorite Starbucks drinks; also providing customers with access to an extensive variety of gift options including tea towels, mugs, bumper stickers and even custom engraved pens! Richton Park is a small town located in south-central Illinois. The population was 11,711 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Bloomingdale, Illinois Metropolitan Statistical Area. Manufacturing and service industries are the mainstay of Richton Park’s economy. The first settler in what is now Richton Park was Abram Morse who arrived in 1814. He named his farm “Morseville” after his father, Abram Morse Sr., also a pioneer in this area. By 1820, Abram had married Jane Goodrich and they started to farm east of where present day Richton Park sits on land that they owned and improved. They raised chickens, pigs, horses and cows until about 1850 when a railroad came through the area and began transporting goods to Chicago from Richton Park by way of Rock Island Railroad Company tracks which ran through town. In 1865, Mr. Goodrich sold all his property within sight of today's park to Jondalar & Abraham Hagerman for $1,500 cash (the equivalent of $ as of 2010). In 1871 Jondalar & Abraham Hagerman organized the First National Bank in town with five partners: John Denton (founder of Denton State Bank), Hyrum Freeman (founder of Freeman Grain Merchants Association), James Laughlin (founder of Laughlin Carriage Works), David Hill (founder of Hill Millinery) and Amos Parrish (owner/operator/manager/director/chief engineer & superintendent Of The Illinois Central Railroad). This bank grew rapidly over the next few years and soon became one of the largest banks in central IL; it burned down on October 25th 1886 but not before depositors had withdrawn over $2 million dollars which at that time constituted a large portion ($24 million as opposed to $103 million as per 2016 values)of IL's total deposits! In 1863 Jondalar & Abraham Hagerman laid out their future block including what would become Richton Park – bounded on the north by St Clair Avenue North; on the east by Kedzie Avenue; on the south by Willow Drive; across Willow Drive from present day Elmhurst Elementary School - just across from where Oneida High School stands today; and westward along Kedzie Avenue into what is now Midway Gardens shopping center! It should be noted that this plot plan still exists today although most development has occurred since then! The first school built in Richton Park was Elmhurst Academy which opened its doors to students in 1872. That same year saw construction begin on what would become Present Day Richardson High School – one half mile northwest cornering Kedzie Avenue between Elmhurst Road and Richards Road – with classes starting September 9th, 1872 under instruction managed by Mrs Gammon Snider FKI!. Classes continued despite heavy rains which caused flooding inside schoolzilla so Mrs Gammon moved all materials including desks etc outdoors onto nearby streets while she directed traffic around damage! Unfortunately flood waters receded leaving behind high water marks on Niles Street SW corner Richards Road approximately 5 feet deep plus 1 feet above ground level!! A plaque marking Memorial Day 1998 recalls how much worse things got: "On this date fourteen years ago more than seventy-five thousand people were destroyed or damaged when flash floods swept through downtownRichmondonenerve evening." Today pictures can still be seen extant inside Eliot Middle School show significant damage suffered during wild weather conditions back THEN!!! Sadly similar events have occurred recently once again prompting calls for action With only 8 families residing within Richton Township limits there wasn't much growth potential until after World War II when many young people left for warrelated jobs throughout our Nation However once these men returned home some families decided to stay put others drifted away like so many dovish seeds planted too deep . For forty years following World War II there was steady population growth averaging 2% per year due largely to births rather than deaths however recent increases have totaled almost 7% annually !! Due mostly to Immigration changes resulting from NAFTA Isobel Rodriguez born November 4th 1980 has topped 10% population count 3 times now !! Despite current challenges continuing low birth rates could easily result in below 5% annual increase if trends continue

Richton Park is a village in Richton Township, Cook County, Illinois. It was founded in 1871 by John H. Richardson as the town of Richton. The name was changed to Richton Park in 1907 and it became an incorporated village in 1912. The population was 21,711 at the 2010 census. The first settler in what is now Richton Park was John H. Richardson, who arrived on July 11, 1871 from London, England with his family. He founded the town of Richton on a tract of land he had acquired east of the Chicago River. Richardson's wife and children accompanied him to America and they settled at what is now East Walnut Street and North Avenue in Richthon Park. They built a log cabin and named it "Richmond". In 1872, Mr. Richardson purchased 640 acres (250 hectares) east of the river near present-day Elmhurst Road for $1 per acre ($40 per hectare). This acquisition included part of what is now Elk Grove Village; but Arlington Heights—the future city—was not established until 1888 when two brothers named George Washington Richards bought 240 acres (120 hectares) northwest of Elmhurst Road for $10 per acre ($160 per hectare). In 1886, Mr. Richards sold his land to John Pritzker for $135 per acre ($2 million vat), making him one of richest men in Illinois at that time and providing impetus for development within the then small village of only 10 residents located on 8 acres (3 ha). By 1912, whenRichton Park became an incorporated village under state law due to growing population pressure within Cook County limits combined with efforts by local officials to attract businesses and workers to their community center complex known as "The Cradle" which had been built adjacent to East Walnut Street between 1908-1912 - this area has since been demolished - re-erected elsewhere inside or outside the current boundaries ofRichtontown/Richmond park boundary - over 20 businesses have anchored themselves there during its early years including many banks (now all gone), insurance companies, doctor's offices etc.; retail shops were also started along Walnut Streets neighboring both parks; several churches also sprang up around this time e
