From 1923-1927, PCC operated three roasting plants located on Division Street between State and Kedzie Streets (now First Plaza Drive). In 1934, Peet's became one of four original owners of what is now Dunkin' Donuts Corporation (DDC). In 1957, DDC purchased another business, Dutch Bros.' Coffee & Tea which later became Dunkin' Donuts Canada Ltd.. In 1969, DDC merged with Kruger Farms Limited to become Peet's Holdings Incorporated (PHI) which operates as part of Dunkin' Donuts Corporation today

The original schoolhouse burned down in 1918 but was replaced with a new one three years later. The first park in Park Ridge was called "Parkside" and it consisted of land near Sherman Avenue and Rush Street. A public playground opened on December 1st, 1924 at the intersection of North Prospect Avenue and West Eisenhower Boulevard - this park is now known as Central Park South after being donated to the town by its namesake (George Park). In 1951, Bankers Life Insurance Company erected a $25 million steel tower which remains standing today as one of downtown's most recognizable landmarks – bank headquarters had been located across State Street from City Hall until that building's demolition in 1955 following the opening of Republic National Bank Building nearby (the tower still stands). In 1964, construction began on what would become Riverfront Drive – now home to several popular restaurants including Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Factory and Wrigley Field Museum – making Park Ridge one of northCook County's earliest suburbs. In 1978, when Valley Forge Golf Course opened adjacent to central park southward along Riverfront Drive – becoming one of northCook County's only golf courses –Parkridge became entranced with its newest development: high-rise housing developments dating back to the early 1970s dotting all around central park southward like sunflowers through time! The late 1980s brought about another crop of high rise housing developments: Crestline Tower Apartments were completed just south of central park eastward along Interstate 90 while One World Trade Center loomed directly across State Street from then onto riverfront; both towers received extensive renovation over time culminating with their reopening as luxury apartments known collectively as Millennium Tower beginning November 15th 2006 amidst much fanfare throughout downtownChicago following their merger with Quicken Loans Arena creating perhaps one of history’s largest mixed use redevelopment projects ever undertaken! Today shopping options abound within minutes’ walk or bike ride away from nearly every corner plaza imaginable; there are also several dozen professional sports teams playing at venues within easy reach regardlessof weather conditions including MLB’s White Sox/Cubs rivalry being played right outside city limits during summer months making even midtown Chicago feel like “home” again!
