As the world's largest coffee producer, Oak Forest Coffee Company has a rich history of brewing and selling high-quality coffee. The company was founded in 1892 by John Fenton and his brother Edward, two of the first farmers to grow coffee in Illinois. Over the years, Oak Forest Coffee Company has produced some of the most iconic and well-known coffee brands in the world – Peet’s, Starbucks, Dasani, and Dunkin' Donuts – as well as several smaller businesses. Today, Oak Forest Coffee Company is one of Illinois' leading providers of premium coffee products. The origins of Oak Forest Coffee Company can be traced back to 1892 when two brothers founded a small farm in northeastern Illinois called John Fenton and Edward Farm. At that time, there were barely any beans left wild in America; all production had to take place within licensed farms. John Fenton and his brother started growing beans on their farm using ancient methods dating back to 1795: they would break the beans down into their finest parts using an ox team with a large hoe then put them into sacks filled with straw for shipment to Philadelphia where they would be roasted over a charcoal fire before being sold directly to consumers. Over time, John Fenton's techniques evolved so that he began roasting his own beans instead of buying them from other manufacturers. In 1908, he opened up his own business which became known as John Fenton's Beans & More – one of America's first grocery stores serving fresh roasted coffeebeans straight from our farm gate! In 1922, we moved our store across the street from City Hall - now known as the Statehouse Annex - making us one of Chicago's first high-end grocery stores! Our customers came from all over Chicago including Brookfield (now Joliet), Maywood (now Elmhurst), Cicero (now Skokie), Westchester (now Mount Prospect) and more! We were instrumental in helping shape downtown Chicago into what it is today – an eclectic mix of old warehouses and new skyscrapers housing many different types of businesses including hospitals, law firms and universities! In 1967-1968 we built our present day location at 4755 North 47th Street – becoming one of only two retail outlets remaining within blocks west of Willis Tower on Lake Michigan! Oak Forest is located on the north side of Chicago and is bordered by the communities of Arlington Heights to the east, Springfield to the south-west, and River Grove to the north-northwest. Oak Forest was laid out in 1853 when John W. Dearborn donated three acres (1.2 km²) of land to be named after him as an appreciation for his help with founding Dearborn Park in 1847. The community developed slowly until World War II when it began to grow rapidly due to its strategic location midway between Chicagoland's two largest cities –Chicago and Milwaukee – and its proximity to military bases within easy reach. During that time, Oak Forest became one of America's most heavily industrialized towns with large factories such as Ford Motor Company and General Motors manufacturing products for Americans all over the world. Although production slowed during the recession of 2007-2009, Oak Forrest has bounced back recently with new businesses starting up such as a pre-school, daycare center, pet store and restaurant marrowbone Lane Grill & Taverna being among those success stories since 2009; however much more work still needs done before this town can truly reflect its former glory days Today Oak Forrest is home to many retirees from nearby Chicago who have found their retirements here comfortable enough despite having little contact with their old friends or families outside of Illinois There are also many young people moving into this sleepy village each year looking for a place where they can grow up without any fear of abandonment or social isolation In recent years there has been an increasing number of people coming into town who live primarily here but commute into downtown Chicago for jobs or other activities although some residents do still leave periodically both due to economic conditions within town or because they simply don't like what they've seen lately in terms energy prices etc.; however no matter what anyone thinks about current events there will always be something special about living in this small but vibrant community just northwest of downtown Chicago

Oak Forest is a small town in Cook County, Illinois, United States. The population was 1,890 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Chicago metropolitan area. Oak Forest has been home to many pioneers in the early days of the United States and its history can be found in the community's namesake tree-lined streets and businesses. The town started as a farming community on a bend in the Fox River. In 1836, General James K. Polk ordered Major General Winfield Scott to march westward and capture Mexico City if possible; Scott's army passed through Oak Forest on its way north. This event led to increased business for local merchants thanks to travelers who stopped at the river's banks for refreshment or trade goods from Mexico City's rich cattle exports. In 1851, members of the Methodist Church founded what would become First Methodist Episcopal Zion Church in Oak Forrest; this church played an important role in developing the town into a thriving center for religious activity during the 19th century. By 1860, there were over 100 people living in Oak Forrest when it incorporated as a village under then-Mayor John Wirtz Sr.'s leadership. The influx of new residents during World War II caused someydia-like illnesses such as typhoid fever among civilians living near military bases located within easy access by water – which further encouraged businesses and citizens alike to form social clubs and networks to prevent these diseases from spreading further outside of their communities' boundaries; this practice became known as "pinching." During much of 20th century, Oak Forrest experienced heavy industry based growth due primarily on its proximity to two major Chicago production facilities: Hoechst Corporation’s Menard Arsenal (now Rockwell Collins) and Armoury Company’s Jenks Ordnance Plant (now JBL). These factories produced aircraft parts and munitions for American forces fighting abroad during World War II; as well as other products used throughout North America including radios, tires, plastics etc.; these plants had significant negative environmental impacts that continue today across several abandonedtta sites along I-94 approaching downtown Chicago .
