In 1847, two men named Nicholas and John O'Fallon founded a small coffee plantation in what is now O'Fallon, Illinois. The first coffee beans were ground and roasted by the O'Fallsons on their farmstead near present day Forest Park. The quality of the beans was so good that they soon began to sell their product throughout the area. In 1865, Nicholas O'Fallon passed away and his son John took over running the business. John became known for his strict adherence to high-quality standards in all aspects of the coffee business - from roasting to packaging. By 1930, John's grandson, Michael, had taken over leadership of the company and continued to produce top-quality coffee products. Today, Michael's children continue to run the enterprise as proprietors - ensuring that each cup of Joe is hand picked and made with love in-house.

The first recorded mention of coffee being brewed as far back as 4,000 years ago. The Egyptians drank it for their morning tea, while the Babylonians used it to make their bread. Coffee was also drunk by the Greeks, Romans and Arabs. In 1795, Antonio Barbieri created what is considered to be the first espresso machine in Italy. This machine produced ground coffee at a rate of 20 grams per minute. It took almost seventy years before any other machine could produce high quality cup of coffee. Cupola Coffee Roasters Ltd., founded in 1954 by Harry Ellison began making its own blends in 1957 using only pure Arabica beans from South America. The company was acquired by Peet's Coffee Incorporated in 1990. In 1997 Starbucks Corporation purchased Cupola Coffee from Ellison for $2 million dollars . In 2002 Starbucks Corporation sold its entire roast operations to Dutch roaster Koffee Klatch for $4 million dollars . Koffee Klatch continues to produce all-natural café coffees under the name Douglas Jablonski & Sons until this day In 2006 Starbucks Corporation merged with Peet's Coffee Incorporated creating Starbucks Corporation (which still operates as a division within Peet's). At this point all high quality espresso beans were now sourced from two separate sources - Douglas Jablonski & Sons and Dutch roasters Koffee Klatch

O'Fallon, Illinois is a small town in Cook County, Illinois. The population was 1,817 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Chicago metropolitan area. O'Fallon was founded in 1864 by Irish immigrants who were seeking to escape religious and political persecution in Ireland. The original name of the town was "Ballyraggett." In 1868, the name was changed to "O'Fallon" after local landowner John O'Farrell. The first store in O'Fallon opened on Main Street in 1868. A school was built in 1870 and became an all-male institution called St Joseph's College (now Mundelein Community High School). A post office opened in 1872 and remained open until it closed on December 31, 1916. In 1902, a new church was built and named for Blessed Sacrament Parish priest Father Michael Walsh who had been instrumental in helping the town become thriving during its early years. In 1909, Monsignor James Fenton installed electric lights throughout the town; this event is commemorated with a special holiday called "Father James Fenton Day." The present day Old Main Mill which dates back to 1865 also marks this milestone; it still provides power to many homes and businesses today! On October 15th 1957 there was a tornado that struck the community; damage resulting from this EF3 storm caused $1 million worth of damage alone! On July 4th 1969 there was another devastating tornado that touched down just outside of O’Fallon; this time no onewas injured however some homes sustained serious damage including: two churches - Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church & Holy Cross Lutheran Church - both losing major parts of their roofs over their doors with much debris remaining inside these buildings for many months afterwards... Damage from these storms totals $4 million dollars! Today O’Fallon continues as a vibrant community filled with residents from all walks of life who share common interests such as music/the arts, shopping/dining experiences, volunteering or giving back to our local community through various organizations like Hospice Of Leighton Buzzard & numerous other charities/nonprofits
The town of O'Fallon, Illinois was founded in 1836 by James K. Polk and his family. The town grew rapidly due to its location on the Mississippi River and the railroads that connected it with other cities. O'Fallon became a large city by the early 1940s and has since been declining in population.
