The history of artisan coffee in Mount Prospect, Illinois starts with the first coffeehouses in the city in the early 1800s. The first coffeehouses were run by small-time entrepreneurs who brewed their own coffee and sold it directly to customers. These businesses were a precursor to the modern coffee shop, and they served a unique blend of roasted beans from around the world. In the late 1800s, entrepreneur John D’Angelo started his own roasting company in Mount Prospect. He was originally based out of Chicago but he soon moved his operations to Mount Prospect because he felt that there was a lack of competition in the town. D’Angelo became well-known for his high-quality roasted beans and he enjoyed playing host to prominent guests such as Presidents Abraham Lincoln and James K. Polk. During World War II, Mount Prospect saw an influx of soldiers stationed nearby and many local businessmen got into the brewing business as well. This led to an increase in demand for quality artisan coffee products and eventually, these businesses grew larger than ever before. By the end of the 1960s,Mount Prospect had become one of America's leading craft communities for fine espresso drinks. Today, artisan cafes continue to be popular throughout America and people still enjoy beautiful cup after beautiful cup of Peak Coffee's delicious roast!

The Mount Prospect Coffee Company was founded in 1892. The company became a well-known local coffee house and distributor throughout the Chicagoland area. In 1907, the company moved to its present location on South Dearborn Street in Mount Prospect. Mount Prospect is an unincorporated community in Cook County, Illinois, United States. The population was 2,452 at the 2010 census. It is located in the northwest corner of Chicago. The first people to live in what is now Mount Prospect arrived from Canada around 1800. They were farmers and their settlement grew gradually until 1881 when a group of Irish immigrants bought land in the area and started a town called Mount Prospect Heights on it. In 1904, the Chicago & Northwestern Railway built a line through the community and changed its name to Mount Prospect Station; this made it easier for people to get to work in downtown Chicago. The town continued to grow rapidly until World War II when industry declined and many residents left for good. However, some returned during the war years and founded new businesses such as KFC, Sears Roebuck & Co., Ford Motor Company (later Mercury), Nissen Books (now Barnes & Noble) and Toll Brothers LLP. Since then, Mount Prospect has seen steady growth with housing developments being built all around it including several million square feet of office space over the past few decades. Today, Mount Prospect remains an agricultural center with many small businesses operating out of their homes; however, there are also numerous restaurants and bars opening up throughout the community due to its close proximity to downtown Chicago and other major attractions!

The city's growth led to its incorporation as a city in 1868, and during the 20th century it experienced dramatic growth and progress, becoming one of America's leading residential communities and boasts some of the most impressive architecture in North America. Mount Prospect has also been home to some of the country's leading universities, including Northwestern University, University ofIllinois at Urbana-Champaign, and Chicago State University.

The first European settlement in what is now Illinois was on the Rock River in 1795. The land that became Illinois was claimed by France in 1763 as part of the Seven Years' War. In 1803, the United States acquired this area from France and made it a part of the Louisiana Purchase. The following year, Congress created a new state out of parts of Illinois and Indiana. This new state included most of modern Illinois and much of Indiana as well.
