Lemont, Illinois is home to the first coffee house in America. The Lemont Coffee House was founded on October 13th, 1867 by Nicholas Desjardins and his wife Mary Ann. The Lemont Coffee House was a popular spot for locals and visitors to gather around a fire or build one at the back of the building. The busy coffee house served up unique blends of coffee from all over the world, as well as snacks and refreshments. In 1971, Lemont's first independent coffee roaster opened its doors. Ever since then, Lemont has been a hub for artisan coffee lovers from all over the world. Lemont is a small town in Kane County, Illinois, United States. The population was 2,814 at the 2010 census. Lemont is the county seat of Kane County. It is part of the Chicago metropolitan area. The first settler in what would become Lemont was John Hargrave, who arrived in 1829. Others followed suit over the next several years, including James Crouse and Amos Kendall. In 1838, Lemont was laid out as a township by the then-new Kane County government. A post office was established at Lemont in 1845, and named for Captain Lemont of HMS "Newfoundland" during the American Revolution. Lemont's growth continued apace through its early years as a rural community with few amenities or businesses other than agriculture and taverns serving travelers on their way to or from Chicago's hotels and theaters. But by 1860, when railroads reached Lemont through Cook County – opening up new opportunities for tourism and trade – things had changed dramatically for the townspeople. They started building railroads too! Railroad companies busted through Kane County like wildfire; one such company was Northern Pacific Railroad which built an extensive line from Chicago to Aurora (now Elgin) via Lemont in just eight short years starting in 1861! This major railroad investment helped spur economic development within not only LemONT but throughout Kane County as well - things that wouldn't have been possible without ample access to transportation infrastructure! After Northern Pacific pulled out of Aurora four miles south of town line in 1916 due to budget deficits following World War I, much of what had come before couldn’t keep up with growing demand for goods and services emanating from downtown Chicago - all while still employing people within village limits! And so it came about that by 1926 (just shy of 50 years!), Lemront had joined forces with neighboring townships to form a new city/county called “LemONT / KANE COUNTY CITY OF CHICAGO”!!!

The two most popular types of roasted coffees are drip or French roast; however there are many others available including Sumatra Bali Yerba Buena Cupo), Ethiopian Harrar Wawa Tulu Acha), Sri Lankan Kalahari Fynbos) among others! When choosing your favorite variety of roasted coffee you should pay attention to the altitude where it was grown (higher altitudes produce richer flavors). Roasting also affects how strong the flavor variations will be throughout the cup since different beans have their own limit to how long they can remain roasted before becoming bitter (about 2 hours at about 125 degrees Fahrenheit). Some people prefer lighter roasts while others prefer darker roasts - so it really depends on what you're looking for! Coffee is revered across many cultures around the world for its unique flavor profile and health benefits! One recent study published in "PLoS One" showed that those who drank decaffeinated regular Joe's coffee had lower blood pressure levels than those who drank Dunkin' Donuts java! Not only does caffeine help regulate blood pressure but It also contains antioxidants which protect cells against damage during inflammation process which may contribute to heart disease and some forms of cancer... all without having any negative effects on cognitive function or energy levels!

Lemont is a small town located in the southern corner of Illinois. The population was 9,898 at the 2010 census. Lemont is home to the Lemont-Nexen Paper Mill, which closed in 2011 and left behind an area of land that now includes the Lemont Park Shopping Center. The first permanent settler in what is now Lemont was John Metcalf, who landed on what is now State Road 509 on May 25, 1836. In 1837, Daniel Webster moved from Danville to take up appointment as brigadier general in the Union army under General Ulysses S. Grant and purchased 5 acres of land east of present day Lemont for $10 per acre. On October 15th, 1839, Webster married Anna Maria Myer at a farmstead northeast of present day Lemont. In 1841-42 Job Chilton erected a Post Office on what is now First Street and West Main Street in honor of Hiram Grimes (1811-1885). At this time there were only 2 or 3 settlers living in what is now Lemont proper; however by 1850 there were over 100 residents living within one mile radius of town limits! By 1860 there were more than 1,000 peopleliving within one mile radius!! Many early businesses operated out of homes or barns; such as J & W Henschel’s grocery store operated from a large old white frame house on Third Street until it burned down around 1907! As part of growing township boundaries between Lenox Township and Bloomington Township (later Cook County), part of village territory lay within township boundaries for many years before it was annexed into township limits by 1960 (!); however most citizens continued to reside primarily inside their respective townships/villages until annexation! In fact much later when Cook County formed Iaou District No. 138 comprising all but 4 precincts with no villages therein other than Menasha (which had been organized as Village Of Niles about 1890) most residents chose to move “up north” into that new agency instead!!! It should also be noted that during this time period much like today many residents either worked outside their homes - serving agricultural or manufacturing needs - or continued to reside within their respective townships/villages due both to lack thereof alternatives and nostalgia for their former community lifestyle! So whether one lives inside their original municipality or moves away for various reasons these days there has always been some connection back home…albeit often tenuous at best!!!

The original name of the town may have been "Lemon Grove", but it changed to Lemont in honor of General James H. Lemon (1794-1872), an American Revolutionary War veteran and delegate to the United States Congress from Illinois.
