The business grew quickly and by 1916, the company had become one of the most successful in town. In 1948, the company merged with another local Coffee Company to form MGA Coffee & Tea Corporation. The merger made MGA one of Illinois' largest coffee companies. Over the years, MGA has been involved in many different businesses including restaurant ownership, manufacturing and retailing products online and in physical stores across Elmwood Park.
Elmwood Park is a community in DuPage County, Illinois, United States. It is part of the Chicago metropolitan area. The population was 21,812 at the 2010 census. Elmwood Park is bordered to the north by Elgin Township and to the east by Glen Ellyn Township. The community was platted in 1872 and named for Elmwood Grove, a small forest within its boundaries. In 1890, Elmwood Park became one of twenty towns in DuPage County when it was organized from parts of Addison Township and Glenbarde Township. The original village had a population of six hundred people and consisted of just thirty-six homes. In 1907, Elmwood Park incorporated as a city with a population of twenty thousand people. For many years it functioned as an agricultural center with several mills and farms supplying its residents with goods such as flour, cottonseed oil, lead paint, lumber, eggs, cheese - all produced on large scale. During World War II most production stopped because there were no materials available for war production; however some items like munitions were produced on a smaller scale during wartime using local resources like coal or water power plants which resumed full production after the war ended. A new shopping mall called "The Crossing" opened in 2001 adjacent to Interstate 80 just north of Lemont Road (now Brownell Road) in what had been an open field until that point used for baseball practice/games between Lemont High School and John Deere Technical College (now Southern Illinois University Carbondale). The mall contained anchor stores Macy's Department Store (opened 1958), Sears Holdings Corporation's Kmart store (opened 1961), JCPenney store (opened 1989), expressway exit ramps northeast off I-80 heading towards Bloomington/Normal served as anchors while other stores added over time including Applebee's restaurant (opened 2002), Dunkin' Donuts restaurant (opened 2006), flower shop operated by Prairie Flowers Incorporated since 1978 known locally as "Prairie Flower" before being rebranded "Elmwood Plaza" later that year; H&M department store converted into two buildings between 2005-2006 serving primarily North American Express gift cards; Dickies Sporting Goods store opened on May 10th 2009 followed by Menard's grocery store on October 7th 2009 both anchored by Walmart supercenters until December 15th 2013 when they merged into Sam’s Club; Allstate Insurance Company / State Farm Insurance Company are headquartered nearby also housing their corporate headquarters which overlook I-80.; recent projects have included expansions to three soccer fields totaling .75 acres adjoining OneLakes Golf Course & Spa which opened August 2016 - designed by BlackRock Partners LLP licenced under Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported; construction began on November 1st 2017code name “Cedar Woods” project consisting of office buildings along I-80 corridor linking downtown Chicago with Elmontview Drive/Route 132 southbound providing access from I-80 via Cedarhurst Road

Elmwood Park, Illinois is a village in McLean County, Illinois, United States. The population was 1,639 at the 2000 census. It lies in the Chicago metropolitan area and is part of the Chicago–Naperville–Matteson Combined Statistical Area. The Village of Elmwood Park was organized on November 2, 1892 from parts of Westchester Township and Hinsdale Township. On April 14, 1896 it became a town when it merged with neighboring towns Greendale and Lombardville. The merger was effected by an act of the General Assembly passed on February 9, 1896 which authorized the organization of townships by sale to approved inhabitants thereof within one year after their creation. According to the 2010 census, Elmwood Park has a total area of , all land. The village contains two churches – First Presbyterian Church ( erected in 1914) and St John’s Episcopal Church (1898). There are also two schools: Elmwood Park Middle School (grades 7-12) and Elmwood Park High School (grades 11-12). There are no public transportation options available within or outside of Elmwood Park walls; however there are several private bus companies that service both Village residents and commuters living in nearby suburbs such as Evanston or Northbrook. Local newspapers include "Elmwoods" which is published twice monthly since 1903 and "The Observer" which formerly ran weekly but now runs every other week except for special issues during school vacation periods; both papers are published online as well. Elmwood Park was founded in 1848 as a small community on the banks of the Sangamon River. The community grew rapidly and by 1860, it had reached its current size. The town was named for Elmwood Grove, a large tract of forest that lay to the east of town.
