Danville, Illinois is a town in Cook County, Illinois, United States. The population was 30,643 at the 2010 census. Danville is the only incorporated city in Cook County. It is home to Northwestern Illinois University and its campus located on the Illini Trail. The first known coffee beans were collected by Johannes Gutenberg in 1455 from an anthracite coal mine near Würzburg, Germany. Coffee became popularized in America after it was discovered by Dutch traders sailing to India in 1624. In 1795, Nicholas-Jacques Conte started plantations of coffee trees near Danville; these later became part of Northwestern Illinois University (NIU). NIU opened its doors to students in 1906. Today, Northwestern Illinois University's Pullman Campus spans more than 12 miles (19 km) along the Illini Trail and houses over 100 buildings used for instruction and research including several laboratories and a library totaling more than 25 million volumes. Today's tactical coffee history begins with World War II when American soldiers stationed here began brewing their own munitions as requisitioned shells came through short on java filters and other spices needed for modern weapons systems. By 1945 many soldiers had moved away leaving behind some amazing tradition of cup-a-thon combat brewing that continues today! After the war ended many civilians returned home and set about reinventing themselves as entrepreneurs who enjoyed starting businesses around town: Cafeteria mogul Art Landis launched his very first café back before Prohibition hit; Harry "the Hunchback" Weinreb opened his famous sports bar; local druggist Fred Shultz started selling gourmet health supplements called "quality coffees"; Bob Dusek founded Danville's only pizzeria; Eddie McCormick opened one of America’s first drive-in cinemas – DeForest Drive-In – just south of town on State Street; Jerry McNamara started serving up burgers at a fast food restaurant called 'The Greyhound'; Rick Majerus founded Jaxx Coffee Roasters which served up world renowned espresso drinks such as Kenya blue cheese frappuccino and cappuccino with almond milk until he sold it all off to Starbucks three years ago...and so it goes! Today there are dozens of small cafes dotting every nook and cranny of this unique community - eachone offering something different but alluding to one common thread: coffee has always been central to their lives - whether they're pouring it out into cups or cooking with it atopstones!

Danville is located in Champaign County, Illinois and is part of the Chicago metropolitan area. The population was 21,468 as of the 2010 census. It is a small town with a single shopping mall and two large colleges. Danville has always been an agricultural town with small businesses growing crops and raising livestock. The community was founded in 1855 by farmers from Danville, Kentucky. The first store in Danville opened in 1861. In 1865, the first post office was established in Danville. The communities growth continued until the early 1900s when large-scale farming took over and made Danville less significant economically. Since then, tourism has become an important factor in the economy while agriculture has been phased out completely leaving little economic significance to the town except for some light manufacturing. The history of Danville can be traced back to 1855 when farmers from Kentucky came to live hereabouts after escaping slavery on their way to freedom on the Underground Railroad. This group of farmers brought with them their skills united under one roof – they started a grocery store which would later become known as Piggly Wiggly Enterprises (PWE). With industry starting up around this time, many people left farming for better opportunities but not all went directly into industry; some stayed behind to start small businesses such as furniture stores or general merchandise stores called "pigglies." In 1861, PWE opened its first store – it was at 4th and Green Streets – just south of what is now Webster University’s Campus Drive campus today! And because these were pre-Internet days there wasn’t even a web page back then! We did have mail order from England though 🙂 But our customers didn’t know that because they had no phone service at that time either (and still don’t!). At 3rd & New Streets we also served those pioneer families who lived between 2nd & 3rd Streets right near our shop! They were known as “the old timers” and you could see them coming down Main Street each day shopping for groceries using horse drawn wagons filled with sacks of flour, sugar, eggs etc… These days you can still see some evidence of these wagon trains parked along 5th Avenue near Euclid Street which used to be called “The Hitching Post Place” due to all the people stopping there during long hauls of goods! But slowly but surely things changed here too; gradually more machines got introduced into agriculture instead of men working hand-to-mouth getting food where it came from every day like this older generation had done for generations before them? No sirree….. actually technology progressed quite rapidly at that point giving rise to big business ideas………. Read about IBM's arrival HERE! Danville is a city in DeKalb County, Illinois, United States. The population was 25,868 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Chicago metropolitan area. The first inhabited site in Danville was near the current day intersection of State Street and Elm Street. A post office called Danville was established in 1858, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1907. At that time, most of what is now DeKalb County was included within Peoria Township. The town of Danville slowly grew as a result of its location on the new railroad line connecting Peoria with Chicago. By 1893, there were over 100 residents living in Danville. In 1906, Danville became a village when it annexed parts of the townships around it to form a municipality. In 1912, the town elevated water pressure to serve its growing community by building an underground system called the "Danville Aqueduct". This aqueduct ran for from Elk Grove Road (now US-12) south to Rollins Avenue (now Kankakee Boulevard), providing potable water for all residents without having to go outside to obtain it. With this infrastructure built and operated by townspeople themselves,Danville quickly became one of the most prosperous cities in Illinois during those years due largely to its good quality water supply and strong economy – thanks both to early industrialization and continuing imports from neighboring Minnesota that allowed for high agricultural production throughout much of southern Illinois at that time). The town grew rapidly and by 1860, it had a population of 1,500. In 1865, the town became a city and on October 25, 1870, it received its charter from the Illinois General Assembly.Danville experienced rapid growth during the late 19th century and early 20th century due to its location at the headwaters of the Des Plaines River and its access to transportation and markets. By 1920, the city had reached an population of over 30,000 people. The downtown area underwent significant renovation during the 1990s as part of a citywide effort to improve infrastructure and create new public services.During World War II, Danville played an important role as a munitions production center for Illinois.
