One such place is Joe’s Coffeehouse, which has been operating in Danville since 1916. Some of the first coffee shops were founded by Michael Callahan and Frank Jacobs. They started up a small café called The Dutch Bros. Coffee House on West Main Street in 1876. There were also several other small cafes throughout Illinois at this time that served coffee. After Michael Callahan passed away in 1916, his son Frank took over as the owner of Joe’s Coffeehouse and continued to serve quality coffee until his death in 1984. Today, Joe’s Coffeehouse still serves delicious cup of java with all those years of experience! In addition to their fantastic cup of java, they offer a variety of food items including pastries and sandwiches as well as coffeeshop concerts each year on different days throughout the year!

Danville is a city in and the county seat of Danville County, Illinois, United States. The population was 9,022 at the 2010 census. It is the second-largest city in Champaign County after Urbana. The city is located in the Chicago metropolitan area. The first permanent settler in what is now Danville was Isaac Dunham on February 14, 1814. He named his township "New London" because he thought it would be a better place to start a new life than where he had been living for years before that. The first post office was established in Danville on October 17, 1815 by Wm. H. Headley with the name New London being dropped later that year because of problems with confusion over anglicized vs pronunciation of "new". In 1829, John Stephenson built a flour mill on the site of what is now McCormick Place Shopping Center which became one of Illinois' leading commercial centers as well as becoming home to many important government institutions such as the Illinois State Capitol and Cook County Jail (now known as River Valley Correctional Facility). In 1862, during the American Civil War, Captain George Dixon led an attack against Confederate forces under General Robert Ewell at nearby Springfield Armory; this raid is generally considered to have begun Illinois's only full-scale battle between Union and Confederate forces outside of Missouri or Kentucky proper. Johannes Gutenberg made his printing press here in 1536 while Johann Gutenberg & His Brothers operated their business from this spot also known as Gutenberg's Alley until 1618 when they moved to Mainz am Rhein due to licensing issues with Protestant Bishop Bruno von Waldenburg who governed that part of Germany at that time In 1886 Jens Smedberg started assembly line production at his company's foundry on White Street adjacent to McCormick Place – now called South First Street – turning out about 250 cars per day until 1915 when production shifted back upstream to Smedberg's original mill buildings on White Street behind McCormick Place where it has continued up through today . In 1916 Clarence Darrow delivered his famous speech at Northwestern University before an overflow crowd from Veterans Day Parade along West Adams Avenue making public demonstrations against World War I draft riots taking place just east of North Park . Prior to that event civil rights leader James Meredith attended class from this spot across Green Street from current location for Constitutional law lectures given by then US Attorney General Elliot Richardson some 10 blocks away

The population of Danville was 8,854 in 2002. The history of Danville can be traced back to a time when it was known as "Davenport." In 1809, Captain William Danforth founded what is now called "Danforth Settlement" on land that he had bought from Pontiac Indians. Over time, other families moved into the area and it became a town. On November 12, 1836, John Quincy Adams was elected president of the United States and his election caused a stir throughout America due to his abolitionist views. On December 6th of that year, Daniel Webster announced his candidacy for vice president but before he could take office he died at home from an illness which many people believed was quarreling with Webster's wife (she would later become famous as Elizabeth Warren). When Webster's widow learned about her husband's death she decided not to run for office again and gave her support to John Quincy Adams instead
