Danville, Illinois has a rich coffee history that goes back to the early 1800s. The area was first settled by European immigrants and soon became known for its prodigious amounts of coffee beans. In 1853, John Clemens opened the first commercial coffee house in Danville. He served up quality coffee until his death in 1907. The city's first grocery store was also operated by Clemens and it is said he used to put a price on each cup of coffee he sold. During the years following World War II, Danville became an important center for the production of espresso and cappuccino. Italian immigrants began moving into the area in large numbers during this time and their cafes quickly became some of the most popular in town. Today, there are many different types of cafes serving up delicious espresso drinks all day long.

Before moving on to specific beans, though, it is important to know how coffee is made. The process begins with ground coffee being roasted in a roasting oven or pressurized tank called a “carafe”. Once properly roasted and sealed off from air and moisture (the two main factors that affect flavor), these beans are ready for consumption. Some common beans used in espresso include Sumatra, Colombian, Ethiopian Keisha Blue Mountain, Arabica Sulawesi Green Coffee Bean – some even use whole bean blends! – as well as Papua New Guinea Pea Pod Coffee Beans which give that characteristic earthy taste and aroma found only in those regions of the world where Pea Pod Coffee was once grown! Once all of the necessary ingredients have been added - water temperature set according to desired strength (between 1-4 C), grounds (either whole or broken into small pieces) - the happy brewer is placed in a hot water bath known as “brewing pressure” before launch into battle against any obstacles (usuallyenzymes) that may stand in its way: oxygenated water molecules created by heating upsteam coming out of Brita filters embedded throughout the brewpot; acids produced by bacteria present in hot water Solutions during infusion phase; and cold shots or roomtemp milk poured over top while still under brewing pressure).

The first gourmet coffee was made in the early 1800s by a group of Swissmen working in Pavia, Italy. They roasted fresh beans and served them up in small cups.

Danville is a small town in the Illinois Panhandle, located about 25 miles east of Chicago. The population was 7,442 at the 2000 census. It occupies a narrow valley between two mountain ranges: the Blue Ridge Mountains to the north and west and the Sangamon Hills to the south-southwest. According to the 2010 census, its total area is 21 square miles (53 km²). today if you look back on history danville had some interesting moments like they once had a voodoo doll place called "blackwater" which wass just near where now day chicago stands
