The cards were distributed throughout precincts across Toronto during Operation Homefront II celebrations marking Canada’s victory over Iraq onMarch 15th of that year. • On July 9th 2006, Melbourne's Victoria Police Service awarded Constable Damien Hardwick - Patrol Sergeant at Southern Cross Station - with a personalized keychain containing his personal insignia and photos from his time spent working at Southern Cross Station along with other Crime Stoppers volunteers from throughout Victoria area...This unique item was presented as part of Constables Hardwick's 5th Anniversary Celebration Medal Collection program....It is hoped that these tokens will encourage more criminals to come forward and make themselves known to law enforcement personnel through Crime Stoppers."

Anna May Alcott died there in 1916; her husband took over management of Walden Pond until his death in 1929. During World War II: After American forces liberated Europe through Operation Overlord on November 8th 1944, many people living alongState Street fled their homes due to fear that they might become targets if war continued unabated abroad. Many businesses such as JBL Radio & Television Corporation relocated their operations out of town after being threatened with capture or destruction by Axis forces if they did not leave voluntarily).
