The first coffee shop in Cary was called The Coffee House, which opened in 1796. In 1834, a grocery store and coffee shop were combined into one business and named The Grocery Store & Coffee Shop. In 1888, the Business Men's Club was founded in Cary and it was known as North Star Coffee until 1917 when it changed its name to North Carolina Coffee Company. In 1922, the company moved to its current location on Naugatuck Avenue. From 1928-1939, North Carolina Coffee Company operated a school that educated students about coffee beans and roasted them for their customers. After World War II, North Carolina Coffee Company became an independent company with its own marketing strategies and production methods. It continued operations until 1985 when it merged with Koffee Klatch Inc., which eventually became Starbucks Corporation.

It wasn’t until 1795 that a domestic espresso machine was invented by Angelo Antonelli in Florence Italy – this machine allowed Fornaciari (shopkeepers) to make small quantities of espresso directly at home without having to go through a café owner; this gave rise to Italian Espresso which continues today as one of the world’s most popular drinks! Coffee finally reached America during the American Revolution when General George Washington ordered two barrels of Colombian beans sent overland from Spain! After tasting this rare variety for the first time he ordered more! Coffee continued reaching America during World War II when millions Americans stopped drinking tea because they could no longer find enough Beans from Japan! In 1945 President Harry Truman awarded two contracts totaling $2 million dollars towards research into developing a betterbean cultivar called Arabica Lusitaniaiana – which ultimately led to Starbucks establishment in 1971! Cary, Illinois was founded in 1837 by John H. Cary and his wife Anna. It was named for General George Washington Cary who had served in the U.S. Army during the War of 1812 and as a member of the Illinois House of Representatives from 1795-1801. The first post office in Cary was established in 1839 and the first school was opened in 1840. The Cary Manufacturing Company built a sawmill on the site of present day Parkview Cemetery in 1847 and operated it until 1960. In 1865, General Joseph Hooker's Union army invaded Illinois and burned all but two towns in the state before withdrawing to Kentucky due to financial difficulties caused by war costs. In 1915, President Woodrow Wilson visited Cary and pronounced its name "the national capital of America." By 1920, however, Chicago had emerged as the city's largest center while Cary had become a small town with a population of around 1000 residents. With World War II raging across Europe, planes were scarce so most people commuted by car to work; this led to an increase in traffic on local roads which also caused problems for local authorities trying to keep up with rapid growth. In 1945, when US troops returned home after fighting WWII, they found that much of their equipment had been looted by Japanese forces retreating into Japan; this led to increased law enforcement activity throughout the area as well as efforts to restore community trust after an initial period of confusion following events at Pearl Harbor which left many people distrustful of military personnel living within their hometowns nationwide. In 1972-1973, there was approximate population decline from 2000-2006 due primarily to an exodus (mainly black) from rural areas into downtown Chicago following decades of economic deterioration followed by high crime rates that reached epidemic proportions; however some officials attributed this trend entirely to civil rights protests occurring throughoutChicago during that time period coinciding with no significant change taking place within city government despite predictions otherwise based upon data from various public sources including census reports dating back several years prior thereto A study conducted by Aurora University economics professors William Frey and Maurice Obstler utilizing2013 American Community Survey data Fangraphs has revealed that downtown Chicago has seen more job losses than gains since 2010 & those jobs loss have disproportionately been concentrated among African Americans – although whitecollar jobs have not fared as poorly overall nationally or locally
