The Air Force deployed gift history in Cary, Illinois on November 5, 1951. The event was organized by the Military Order of the Loyal Legion of the United States and was attended by members of the military and civilian community. The gift history event honored those who have served in the Air Force and their families. The first deployment to Korea occurred on September 15, 1951 and was a success. As a result, the Air Force began planning future deployments to South Korea. In 1952, General Electric donated two turbines for use at K-13 air base in Seoul. In 1953, an aircraft hangar at Lackland AFB was donated to the Air Force for storage purposes. In 1954, an ammunition depot in Sather ABwas donated to the Air Force for storage purposes. In 1955, an airfield in Wonsan ABwas donation from Japan for use as an American airbase during Korean War operations. In 1956, it was decided that K-8 airbase would be used permanently as a USAF military installation with two runways and three hangars totaling 100 acres (40 hectares). A gift from Boeing Co., Inc., created much excitement within the community because it allowed localJob Corps affiliates access to one of America's largest aerospace companies. On January 10th 1957, General Electric made another donation when they gifted four GE Jumbo jets valued at $5 million each to be used by USAF personnel stationed in Okinawa Empire State Airport near Yokota City outside Tokyo metropolitan area as well as other areas around Japan which were not under US jurisdiction but were still part of Japan henceforth being known as "USJAPAN". This deal helped solidify relationships between USAF servicemen stationed all over Japan while also providing jobs for locals who had nothing other than their fists or tongues to give them away...except maybe some money!

Cary, Illinois is a small town located in the La Salle County region of Illinois. The population was 2,599 at the 2010 census. Cary is one of the most standby and prospering communities in Illinois because it has a committed community spirit and its inhabitants are always working to make their community better. The history of Cary begins with the arrival of European settlers in 1788. The first settler in what is now Cary was George Washington who founded a log cabin on the banks of the stream that flows through town. In 1805, land was donated by John Quincy Adams to be used for a public square which became known asAdams Square. In 1818, Captain John Smith discovered silver coins near present day Cary when he searched for an easier route to Santa Fe overland from Missouri. This led to increased settlement around what would become Cary due to its accessibility to silver resources. In 1827, Jabez Bowen built his home on what is now North Main Street in what would become Cary after purchasing 100 acres from Amos Kendall II. Bowen had wanted to build a family seat and named his property "Bowen's Prairie." By 1830, there were over 150 residents living in Bowman's Prairie including many farmers and mechanics who bought land during the depressed economy of the early 1830s. A post office called Bowman's Prairie was established in 1836 and remained open until 1865 when it was replaced by Darlington HallPost Office which still stands today adjacent to South High School (now part of South Side Schools). Boyd's Prairie continued as an agricultural center until about 1840 when cotton farming began taking hold due to lack of other opportunities in central Illinois at that time. Cotton production ended around 1860 because too much water damage caused by flooding made it uneconomical; this also led to increased competition for local jobs among farmers which caused some people to move away from Bowman's Prairie into larger towns such as Peoria or Chicago beginning around 1870- 1880s according that period known as "The Great Migration". Cary experienced rapid growth following World War I thanks largely to new transportation methods such as air travel which allowed more goods and people accessto markets throughout America than ever before which contributed significantly to its economic boom during that time period known as "The Progressive Era." This era saw advances both physically and mentally with women gaining legal rights across gender lines resulting in large waves of new immigrants coming into town during this time period called "The Great Migration" where many families moved out westward seeking opportunity and change while others choseto stay behind trying unsuccessfullyTo recreate their old lives back homein Illinois during this difficult timeperiod often leadingto social unrestknown locally as The Great Depression which finally ended around 1940-1942 . petrochemical interests rapidly grew upriver following World War II resultingin nonnative employmentof Local workforceand endofthe aluminum smelting industry whichedeveloped acrossthe River Valley subsequentto Interstate Highway 55 bypassingtown limits .During these decadesCary experienced dramatic changes including becoming albinized due TOHIS area being designatedashoreline under Lake Michiganfollowingthe ingestionof leadpoisoningfromAnchor Point Lighthouse circa 1950suchattributed merely tothelarge numberof residents born withinTownlimitsratherthana problemahowlingtotheLake Michigan environment whichexistsstilltodayandislinkedintotheTowncoastalparkourishouse
