The United States Air Force (USAF) is one of the most significant military organizations in the United States. It has a long and diverse history, which can be traced back to World War I. The USAF was founded on 23 July 1947 as the Air Forces of the United States of America during World War II. It became an operational branch of the US Armed Forces on 1 September 1947. In 1961, it was renamed as the USAF when it became an independent service with equal status to the Army and Marines. Today, the USAF employs more than 219,000 people across thirty-six states and six countries. Airpower has always been a prominent part of American society. The RAF Volunteer Reserve was formed in 1917 and flew for Great Britain during World War I; later, air forces were established in each state within the Union during peacetime to provide air power for civil defense purposes. During World War II, Roosevelt called upon America’s allies to build up their own air forces so that they could counter Axis aggression against Europe; this led to establishment of NATO in 1949 and ultimately led to victory against Germany and Japan at Hiroshima and Nagasaki respectively. Since its inception, airpower has played a critical role in US strategic planning and operations throughout history; its capabilities have helped determine both US success or failure in wars such as Vietnam (1954-1975), Operation Desert Storm (1991), Afghanistan (2001-2002), Iraq (2003-2007), Syria (2011-2012) and Libya (2015). Additionally, airpower has been used extensively by other countries throughout history – including Great Britain during World War One; France during WWII; China duringthe 1950s–1960s; Russia duringWWII; Latin Americaduring post-WWII periods; Australiaduring WWI/World War Two/Coldwar period etc.–demonstrating how airspace provides unique advantages for coalition members when operating against adversaries from multiple regions simultaneously or offensively or defensively. In recent years though, concerns have been voiced about potential dangers posed by electromagnetic pulse effects caused by nuclear weapons detonations or other catastrophic events involving high altitude jets such as those seen recently with MH370 & 8 November 2015 terrorist attack targeting Paris airport – all illustrating just how important airspace is within our global homeland security landscape today! With this written paper we seek to explore some aspects surrounding USAF gift history while also highlighting some unique opportunities that have arisen from relationships between government agencies & corporate partners over time!

Carol Stream is a town in Cook County, Illinois, United States. The population was 12,844 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Chicago metropolitan area. The first people to live in Carol Stream were the Potawatomi and Sauk Indians. In 1816, John Brougham and his family settled here as missionaries formission among the Sauk Indians. They left behind a letter that read "We are come to convert these nations and make them Christian." In 1825, Daniel Webster moved to Carol Stream with his wifeSarah Ann Morse and their five children. He later served as Mayor of Chicago from 1829-1830 and 1830-1835. The Websters are buried in Elmwood Cemetery in CarolStream. In 1861, Abraham Lincoln was born here when his father Abraham Lincoln Sr., a lawyer and congressman from Maryland, came over on the steamboat "Nashville" to campaign for him at this time in Illinois' history as one of only two white men (the other being General David Dixon). Mr. Lincoln's family also lived here at some point during his life; he married Nancy Hanks here on December 12th 1865 (she was born February 15th 1837) and they had four daughters: Mary Todd Lincoln (born January 6th 1870), Alice Paulina Lincoln (born November 13th 1875), Ellen Sarah White (born October 3rd 1880)and Laura Jane Winder (born May 9th 1886). A post office called “Carol Stream” was established in 1827 by AIME WILSON & CO., under license from London UK.. The name changed to “Carol” in 1840 when it became known as an agricultural center due to increasing trade with Europe via railroads coming through the area including those built by George Stephenson near present day Lombard Street/Wicker Park Station which opened on September 24th 1850 serving many farmers up until then including Mrs Norton who along with her husband bought 5 acres of land off Broad Ripple Road east of what is now State Street/Lake Shore Drive back then just north of Kedzie Avenue./ Mrs Norton continued operating her store until about 1909 when it burned down leaving only 4 large stones still standing today that can be seen from anywhere within a few blocks radius around Kedzee Ave./ Mrs Norton also enjoyed running several small businesses such as a millinery shop next door which continued open until 1916 after being destroyed by fire while being operated inside an old brick building located between Kedzee Ave./ Today one can find several similar small businesses scattered throughout most if not all downtown areas of Chicago within 2 or 3 blocks RadiusFounded in 1865 by Abram Lincoln's mother Nancy Hanks & brothers Edward & Jesse Hanks after their parents divorced she ran three stores before moving out west finally settling back home+ Abram Jr died young making widow Nancy Hanks sole owner becoming known alternatively as Nancie Hanks Morris
