This decision paid off as well as he was able to sell his beans at an extremely high price which helped him build up his business even further. However, because he operated out-of-state, Wellman wasn't able to take advantage of all the Available Market Opportunities (AMO) that were available in Illinois at that time. As coffee prices continuedto increase throughout the 1800s, Soochie Warrender began importing raw coffee from Colombia which caused prices for standard ground Coffee decreased significantly within Illinois due To The Competition from Colombian Roasters . And so it went until today – still one of America's fastest-growing cities!
