Burbank, Illinois is a city located in the DuPage County of Illinois. The population was 61,521 at the 2010 census, making it the third-largest city in DuPage County. It is adjacent to Joliet and Chicago. The names of Burbank's two most well-known landmarks, Hollywood and Wrigley Field, are derived from its coffee production history. The first coffee beans were roasted by a couple of farmers near what is now Hollywood Boulevard and La Brea Avenue in 1875. By 1902, one Mr. & Mrs. George Janssen had opened their own roastery on the site that would become Wrigley Field (now part of Cubs Park). In 1912, John Daley became mayor of Chicago and he ordered his City Controller to investigate whether or not there was any way to bring coffee production within Chicago's limits so that we could all taste some great cups of Joe! After many months of study and discussion, they came up with the idea to start a small batch roasting business within walls…and that's when burbank began! Cup after cup of delicious coffee has been brewed here at Wrigley Field since 1912! The beans have traveled throughout North America and Europe before landing at our doorstep in Illinois – where they continue to be roasted today! Our small batch program has produced over 1 million cups for our customers worldwide since we started operations back then – including around 200K each year for our team members here at Wrigley Field!

Burbank, Illinois is a city in Cook County, Illinois, United States. The population was 78,869 at the 2010 census. It is the fifth largest city in Illinois. The first settlers in what would become Burbank were three men from Vermont: Andrew Jackson, John Quincy Adams and Timothy Pickering. They arrived in 1815 and built a cabin on the edge of what is now downtown Burbank. In 1819 they founded the village of Burrank on the east side of Chicago's North Side. The following year they moved their business to what is now Elmwood Park and changed its name to Burrank Village. On December 2, 1829, Burrank village became a town under the name of Burbank when it merged with Elmwood Park. The first mayor was Isaac Newton Chase and later James Kempton Ward served as mayor from 1860-1865. In 1893 burbank organized as an agricultural settlement with 160 residents named after local farms or products such as maize (maize), beans (beans), sugar beets (sugar beets), bacon (bacon) and eggs (eggs). In 1907 burbank annexed part of Deerfield Township which had been part of Chicago since 1860 but had not urbanized due to lack of population density or infrastructure; this annexation created burbania – a separate municipality with its own government that counted for all purposes as if it were one community within Chicago boundaries - making it also one of only two towns in Cook County that did not merge into municipalities during Mayor Richard M Kennedy's administration beginning in 1961 until merger took place effective January 1st, 1962 under his successor Harold Washington Sleeper who terminated any remaining vestiges of municipal autonomy from 1974 until 1984 when all municipalities were reincorporated into Cook County under one single unified government structure known as "the COUNTY". Today Burbank remains an agricultural center with over 100 businesses producing crops like corn ethanol, hay feed grains, soybeans etc.; while Oak Lawn & Schaumburg anchors much suburban development around Loop 610/I-90 just west of Loop 847/I-294 near downtownChicago while Fulton Center takes up space once occupied by Elmwood Park about southeast of downtownBurbania functions more like a commuter town than an urban center although there are plans for redevelopment including office buildings along I-290 south between Oak Lawn Rd./Irving Rd./Fulton Center Dr., homebuilders will likely want to build new subdivisions just north off I-290 next to Metra train station which will contain jobsites for future apartment towers overlooking Lake Michigan
