Bridgeview is a small town in DuPage County, Illinois, United States. The population was 2,811 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Chicago metropolitan area. Bridgeview coffee history began in 1892 when John Galt founded Galt Coffee and Tea on the east side of the street that leads to the current day Bridgeview Avenue. Galt started out as a small operation selling coffee from his home. In 1902, he opened a store on State Street in Bridgeview and continued to sell coffee until 1960. The first K-Cup machine was produced in 1984 by Keurig Ltd., which became one of America's largest home brewers with over 16 million machines sold globally. In December 2006, Keurig announced its intention to divest itself of its coffee business and sell all its assets worldwide through an initial public offering (IPO). At that time, K-Cup machines were still being manufactured by various manufacturers under several different brands including those made by Dr Pepper Snapple Group (DPSG) and Cap'n Crunch cereal manufacturer Kellogg Co . (KCOMP ). In March 2007 DPSG announced their intent to purchase Keurig's entire coffee business for $13 billion USD . At that point, most people believed that Keurag would be discontinuing all K-Cups production

Penney and his wife, Hilda, in a small shopping plaza near the intersection of Addison and Cicero Roads. At that time, Bridgeview was a struggling small town with only a few shops and restaurants. In 1984, the original ownership passed away and the business was sold to Harry & Louise's Coffee Company which operated it until 2000 when it was bought by Michael's Coffee Incorporated. In 2001, Michael's Coffee changed its name to Michael's Pizza & Coffee before passing away in 2006. In 2013, TFB WIRELESS COOP purchased Michael's Pizza & Coffee from their heirs for $1 million The current owners of Bridgeview coffee are Ronny Kapp (owner) and his wife Pam (operator).

The Village of Bridgeview was organized on November 3, 1892 from portions of the former Town of Glenwoods which had been merged with neighboring towns McDonough and South Side to form the new Village of Glenwood. The first post office was established in Glenwood on December 5, 1892. The village growth has been propelled by its location near Metra's Sheffield Station and its easy access to Interstate 90 and other transportation routes. In recent years, however, Bridgeview's economy has shifted to service providers such as health care and retail businesses that provide goods or services for residents within walking distance of their homes. Bridgeview was a town in Cook County, Illinois, United States. The population was 9,803 at the 2010 census. Bridgeview is part of the Chicago metropolitan area. Bridgeview began as a small farming community in 1847 on the banks of the Fox River. It became a town in 1892 and incorporated as a village in 1903. In 1957, it became an unincorporated community again. The name "Bridgeview" comes from one of its founders, Ohioan J. Waddell Bridge, who also named his new home "Bridge View". The original residents were farmers and their families who had come to Illinois from Ohio during the 1850s to take advantage of land grants and opportunities for agriculture that were available here than in other parts of the country at that time. By 1870, most of those who had settled here had become prosperous merchants and professionals. They built homes near where they worked, enjoying good transportation options and close access to markets located nearby such as Chicago or Milwaukee. Many people served on local government bodies including two mayors and four trustees of county court before early twentieth century when roads improved communication made living here more affordable for everyone without sacrificing quality of life or essentials like water power or grazing land for livestock- meaning there would be no need for such services anymore once towns developed around them which did not require these amenities to function effectively). In 1902 Bridgeview voters approved a plan by then-mayor John Ladd to build what is now known as Ladd Park adjacent to Water Tower Road/Milwaukee Avenue with funds raised through special sales taxes levied on properties within 1 mile (1 km) of Milwaukie Avenue between State Street/First National Bank Building east and State Street/Bridges across State Street/Milwaukee Avenue west; this park would be home to sports teams from both communities much like today's Northwestern Mutual Fieldhouse Complex situated just off North Shore Drive next door [it stands today], providing an important civic center until Aurora's opening upnorth several decades later]. It should be noted that although portions still stand abandoned along former streetscape boundaries due mostly to neglect by current owners over many years - such areas have been archaeologically explored by numerous groups over recent years - much has now been done with vision and planning provided by various organizations supportive thereof culminating with final approvals granted last year following comprehensive archaeological survey conducted jointly by Calumet City Heritage Trustees & BridgeVIEW Archaeology Inc.; thus completing nearly 25 years worth interpretive work (& exciting new findings & interpretations!)... Today BridgeVIEW is composed predominately of high-rise buildings dating back almost 100 years primarily concentrated along N Lake Shore Dr., Midtown Blvd., W Washington Rd./W Superior Ave., E Lake Shore Dr., N corner S First St./N corner W Superior Ave., G Lakeshore Rd./Hollowbrook Ct.; covering an area approximately 9 square miles (25 sq km), making it among largest SETI Sites located outside Earth!
