Bradley was founded in 1872 by John Bradley and his family. The town grew rapidly after World War II until it reached its peak in the early 2000s due to suburban growth and new industrial development. However, since then the town's economy has been weakening as more people move away from rural areas to larger cities. Bradley is located at (41.569639, -88.715416). When the United States Air Force was formed in 1947, it had only two propeller-driven planes. The first USAF plane, an experimental Lockheed P-38 Lightning fighter, made its maiden flight on September 2, 1948. With a wingspan of just over 30 feet and aMassive Radius of just over 5 miles, the P-38 was considered too small to be used in combat. However, quickly becoming operational and flying numerous patrols over Korea during the Korean War, the USAF realized that this small but powerful plane could be decisive in victory or defeat. So they ordered production of even more powerful planes – the Lockheed F-104 Starfighter! This new fighter had an impressive mass of almost 1 million pounds and a wingspan of over 36 feet! And because it could fly at high altitudes with no trouble keeping up with American bombers and other aircraft flown by the North Koreans – it became one of America’s main weapons against their allies. The USAF also began to produce other types of jets such as the McDonnell Douglas DC-8 airliner and Boeing 747 passenger jet – all designed for strategic bombing missions deep into enemy territory. In total these planes were able to carry out some 570 airstrikes against targets inside North Korea alone between 1951-1953! These air forces played an integral role in helping America win World War II while also contributing greatly to their postwar success. And now they continue their support through Operation Iron Dome which is aimed at stopping Palestinian attacks on Israeli civilians.
