This year's theme was "A New Year's Resolution: Serve Others." As part of its annual program, the wing distributed gift baskets filled with goodies such as clothes, toys and snacks to military personnel stationed at various locations. This year's event was significant because it marked the first time that an airman from the 295th Airlift Wing had delivered gifts to military personnel in Iraq and Afghanistan. In December 2009, members of Headquarters Squadron 531 gave presents to service members stationed in both countries during Operation Enduring Freedom. These donations underscore America's commitment to our allies and partners overseas who risk their lives every day for us.

Finally, all GiftBaskets must be prepped and approved by Headquarters prior to delivery!
