Bellwood, Illinois is a small town located in the northwest corner of Cook County on the edge of the Chicago metropolitan area. It has a population of about 2,000 people and is one of the most Midwestern towns in terms of its geography and history. The town was founded in 1855 by settlers from New York City. The first coffee house in Bellwood was built by John Crouch and his family. In 1870, J.C.'s son Amos opened another Coffee House which became known as "The Star". By 1915, there were six coffeehouses operating in Bellwood with an average nightly attendance of 100-130 people. In 1917, Milton Wright opened his own coffee house at 204 N Hubbard Street which became known as The Wright Place. In 1922, Harry Heinegger opened his first coffee shop called The Heinegger Place which became known as "The Hennepin". In 1925, Theo Rauch established his own coffee house at 353 W Harrison Avenue which became known as "The Rauch House". In 1929, Dutch Schultz opened his first coffee shop called "Dutch Schultz' Café" at 711 N Clark Street which became known as "Dutch Schultz' Department Store". From 1934 to 1941, Sam Giancana operated several Italian restaurants within walking distance of Dutch Schultz' Cafes (the last Italian restaurant closed down in 1990). In 1951, Jack Kerouac moved to Bellwood and started writing poetry and writing for newspapers in nearby Skokie. On July 20th 1954 he published aeditorial entitled "Is Chicago Asleep At The Wheel?" that criticized Mayor Richard Mapplethorpe's plans to build a expressway through central Park that would have destroyed much cultural heritage within the city limits while also reducing access to education and employment opportunities for residents living near Lake Michiganfront Park. That same year on October 15th local paper columnist John Kilburn published an editorial entitled "A Glenn Miller Legend Ends",criticizing then mayor Richard Mapplethorpe's proposal to spend $15 million dollars on creating a new golf course adjacent to Soldier Field without any public input or notification to the community about what would be happening behind those gates! This event helped spark public discussion about how best to handle such large projects within our city limits without taking away from important cultural landmarks like Soldier Field or Lake Michiganfront Park

Bellwood was founded in 1847 by Peter Bell and his wife Catharine Greenough. It is located on a bend in the River DuPage between two large towns – Belmont to the east and Wheeling to the west. The village of Bellwood had 1,552 residents as of 2010; it is one-seventh of Illinois' total population and one-seventh of Kendall County's population. With its location on a bend in the river, close to two other villages, and its rich agricultural history, Bellwood has been called "the Village on the Bend". The village has many churches including one belonging to The Episcopal Church which has an affiliation with London, England. Belmont Community High School (formerly known as Bellefontaine) serves students from Bellwood; it opened in 1959 and currently employs over 175 people as educators and administrators alone! The school offers classes from 9am to 12pm (in addition to morning cares for pre-kindergarten through 8th grade), afternoon classes (1pm-4pm), evening classes (5pm-8pm), remedial/noncredit courses (K-12th grades only), summer programs for kids grades K thru 6th grade (6am-10am & 2pm-3:30pm)

In 1851, an American scientist named Lewis Hill discovered that caffeine could be extracted from the bean by pressing it with a foot pedal while boiling water was poured on it. This process made sure that only high-quality ground coffee was produced. By 1860, all of Europe had started to import coffee from America and this helped to make the Dutch market dominant. From then on, Europe became one of the major sources of world's supply of coffee. The first espresso machine was invented in Italy in 1915 and this helped to make espresso more popular than ever before as people began to appreciate its taste and aroma
