The first Rexburg Coffee Roasters was founded in 1984, and has been serving up quality coffee ever since. Rexburg was founded in 1881 by George Washington Stephenson and named for him, Rexford in England. The town became a city on December 5, 1907 and was named after James A. Rexford, who served as Mayor from 1911 to 1912 and as Postmaster General from 1913 to 1916.
