There was coffee first in Pocatello, Idaho. The first documented purchase of coffee beans from the now defunct Coffee Factor store took place on October 5th, 1971. The store closed its doors on December 12th, 1971. The early coffee growers in this area were primarily Italians who grew and sold their own coffee. However, after World War II, American soldiers stationed in the region started bringing back sacks of roasted Italian beans to their barracks for their officers and enlisted men to enjoy at breakfast or before dinner. These Original Joe's Coffee Beans became known throughout the military community as "Pocatello Roasts." When the war ended and troops returned home, they brought with them a love of café culture that quickly spread throughout America. Businesses such as The Koffee Klatch began serving espresso drinks called cortados (cups) of two ounces each with various flavors such as churros or cream cheese inside an airtight container. At first these coffee bars served onlyKOFFEE but soon found themselves selling other items such as pastries and sandwiches too! As espresso culture grew more popular in America, so too did small batch coffee cafes across the country - beginning withHash House Harriers and moving on through Debonair Cafe- all Founding Fathers of modern small batch coffee shops! In 1991, employees at The Koffee Klatch decided to open up their business into what is now known as Cloud 9 Café & Bakery which continues to serve delicious small batch coffee every day!

Pocatello is a town in eastern Idaho, United States, located on the Snake River. The population was 5,811 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Pocatello-Nampa Metropolitan Statistical Area. Pocatello was founded by George and Anna Clapp in 1872 as a trading post on the Snake River. It became an incorporated city in 1907 and again in 1959. The first European to visit Pocatello was Captain John Cook on November 11, 1779 during his exploration of what is now Oregon Territory. Cook named the forks of the Snake River "Pocatello" after George Clapp's trading post near present-day Pocatello, Idaho. In 1872, Clapp's family organized a wagon train to travel upriver from their home base at Telluride Springs to Fort Hall (now Boise). They called their new settlement "Pocatello," after George Clapp's birthplace in Scotland. The town rapidly grew into a thriving trading post with stores, hotels and restaurants catering to travelers crossing the Snake River from Canada and Mexico. By 1907, Pocatello had become an incorporated city with its own government and boasted over 100 businesses including banks, churches and factories producing goods for local consumption or export to other parts of the country. In 1959, when much of eastern Idaho were acquired by Moscow Township in Park County through annexation then legislative approval due to land rushes following World War II growth within that area – including much of what is now Pocatello – Pocatellofilm began production as one of Eastern Idaho's most important economic engines driving growth during that period for both municipalities combined as well as neighboring Park County communities such as Star Valley and Rexburg which also experienced rapid development around that time thanks largely to easy access Interstate 80 bypassing those areas essentially overnight*.
