In the early 1800s, coffee was a popular drink in Woodstock, Georgia. At that time, coffee beans were bought and roasted by local farmers. The beans were then sold to nearby businesses and individuals. Today, artisan coffee is still enjoyed in Woodstock, Georgia. The first café in Woodstock was founded in 1884 by Captain Charles Goodrich and his wife Alice. The Goodrich Café served coffee until 1914. In 1938, the Goodrich Cafe was acquired by Harry Jorgensen and his wife Mildred. At Harry Jorgensen’s café, the beans were ground fresh for each customer. Today, the Harry Jorgensen Coffee Company operates as a full-service business with over 50 locations across America. In addition to providing quality coffee at affordable prices, the Harry Jorgensen Coffee Company also offers breakfast items such as pancakes and waffles as well as subscriptions for their monthly newsletter which provides news about their cafes around the country.

On July 5, 1875, Woodstock was founded as a small agricultural community in Dawson County by settlers from Georgia. The town grew rapidly due to its location on the Chattahoochee River and its access to timber and other natural resources. By 1907, Woodstock had a population of over 1,000 people. In 1925, the town became an incorporated municipality with a mayor-council form of government. In the late 1930s and early 1940s, World War II led to a decline in the population of Woodstock due to the war's impact on agriculture. However, because of its proximity to Atlanta and other major cities, Woodstock continued to grow during the postwar period. In 1977, the town voted to become an independent city under Mayor Dennis Rogers. The current incarnation of Woodstock is located in Dawson County near Decatur and has a population of around 30 residents.
The town of Woodstock, Georgia is located in the Peach State. The population of Woodstock was 3,898 as of the 2010 census. The small town lies on a bend in the Chattahoochee River and has been inhabited by Native Americans for centuries. In 1821, General Andrew Jackson and his army marched through the town during his campaign against Georgia Governor Thomas Macready. Woodstock was named after John C. Wright, a white man who founded a ferry company in 1824 that ferried goods between Atlanta and Savannah. When the railroad arrived in 1830, passengers travelling from north to south used Wright's Ferry to cross the river. By 1870, however, rails had reached downtown and transportation declined; business only increased when a cotton mill was built in 1874. The mill closed in 1902 but local residents continued to use it as their civic center until it burned down in 1984. Today, woodstocks remaining buildings are operated as a museum called "The Wright Museum."

Woodstock, Georgia is a small town located in Cobb County, Georgia. The population was 1,828 at the 2000 census. It is the most populous community in Cobb County and one of the few towns in the county that has not shrunk since the early 21st century. In fact, Woodstock's population has actually grown since 2000- thanks to a variety of immigration and natural growth from nearby cities and suburbs. The town began as a farming community on an acreage donated by General Nathan Bedford Forrest. Forrest had come to Cobb County from Alabama to help lead a white nationalist uprising against Reconstruction following the Civil War. The area now known as Woodstock was part of what were then rural counties in central Georgia. By 1881, however, there were already over 100 residents living in what would become Woodstock proper- including some of Forrest's plantations. The first post office at Woodstock was established on February 7th, 1882. At its inception, it served only locals; however, within two years it had been enlarged to include supplies for other localities within Cobb County as well as mail from surrounding counties. By 1886, with wood pulp mills opening up all over America (and demand for paper increasing), life began to change for locals at least insofar as their daily lives could be classified: services such as water mains and streetlights became available outside of downtown – making life more difficult but also morelivable without having to leave their homes much during those days before cell phones and internet access made everything easier still! In 1915 local store owner John Ladd decided he’d like something different for his town center so he built himself a movie theater which opened November 15th 1915 with US silent films starring Douglas Fairbanks Jr.. This event helped start what would eventually become known as “the music industry” hereabouts – leading people who never spoke about WOODSTOCK MUSIC DAYS or anything else related thereto until recent times!
