Since the early days of small batch coffee, there have been those who have championed the idea and those who have opposed it. The first small batch coffee movement in Suwanee started in the late 1800s when African Americans began to move from plantations into housing developments in downtown Atlanta. They would go to local cafes for morning coffee and share news and gossip with their friends. In addition to providing a network for new people, these cafes also served as a gathering place for old timers. The first mention of smallbatch coffee is from 1892 when a Mr. Fenton bought a large quantity of beans from an Italian cafe in Athens, Georgia. He set them to work making his own espresso drinks at home which he called "Fenton's Coffee". From here on out, manyAtlanta-based businesses followed suit and started producing their own versions of espresso drinks using fresh beans provided by their suppliers. It wasn't until the late 1800s that anyone really cared about small batch coffee. At this point, most people were more interested in tea or chocolate than espresso drinks. However, grocery stores continued to sell espresso-based products even though they were less popular than other caffeine options like tea or chocolate bars. This was because grocery store managers believed that if they didn't carry caffeine alternatives then customers wouldn't be able to stick around long enough to buy something else instead. Thus, small batches of espresso-based products survived into the next century despite being less popular than other options

Coffee in Suwanee began as a small, family-owned business in the early 1800s. The first coffee house in Suwanee was called the Coffee House and it was located on North Main Street. In 1885, the first coffee mill was built in Suwanee and coffee began to be produced commercially. In 1916, the first grocery store inSuwanee opened and it remained an important center of commerce until the early 1970s. During that time, there were several other businesses that operated within walking distance of the University of Georgia campus such as a bakery, butcher shop, post office, movie theater and convenience store.

Suwanee, Georgia is a city in Fulton County, Georgia, United States. The population was 17,818 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Atlanta metropolitan area. The name "Suwanee" comes from the Chickasaw word "swannee," meaning "watercourse." The town was founded in 1828 by Andrew Jackson's brother-in-law, James Kenedy. In 1835 it became a county seat and was incorporated as a city on December 1, 1853. The Suwanee Manufacturing Company was one of the largest cotton mills in America during the late 19th century and early 20th century. It closed its doors in 1951 but has been reborn as an arts and culture community with many cultural festivals throughout the year

During the Civil War, SuwannEE became a major battlefield between Union forces and Confederate troops. In 1865, following the war's conclusion, Suwanee changed hands multiple times before finally becoming part of newly formed Alabama as part of that state's secession from Georgia. The city declined thereafter until it regained its previous level of population by 1920. After World War II,SuwanaEE underwent rapid redevelopment which has restored much of its pre-war commercial district and architecture

In the early 1800s, the Suwanee River was a major transportation artery in Georgia. The river served as a boundary between Cherokee and white settlements, and also helped to connect the regions.
