In 1890, the company changed its name to Stateboro Coffee Company and began making espresso beans for local businesses. Today, Stateboro Coffee is a family-owned business with over 50 employees who roast, flavor and package their coffee beans according to customer preference. The company has been featured on national television programs such as Good Morning America and Martha Stewart's Living! They also offer a wide variety of delicious canned beverages made with their coffee including iced tea, pumpkin spice Latte storms and hot chocolate.

Statesboro is a small town in Cobb County, Georgia, United States. The population was 3,815 at the 2010 census. Statesboro is part of the Atlanta metropolitan area. It lies on the east side of I-285 and is bordered by Fulton to the north, Baker to the east, DeKalb to the south, and Roswell to the west. Statesboro was founded in 1837 as a cotton plantation town located on Georgians Creek. In 1881, it became an incorporated municipality with a population of 5,000. After World War II it grew rapidly as a center for defense production and engineering because of its location at I-285 and I-20 exit ramps. The economy has declined since then but some new development projects are under way such as Statesboro High School which opened in 2006 and an apartment complex called Cumberland Park that will be built next door to Interstate 285 in 2020.

Statesboro was founded on December 12, 1807 by Captain John Sevier and his Lieutenant Samuel Dickey. The town was named for General James Morgan's state of Georgia. The first store in Statesboro was built by Isaac Griffin. A post office was established in 1810, and the name changed to Statesboro in 1812. In 1832, the Georgia Railroad came through Statesboro and allowed for more commerce to be brought into the town. In 1840, the courthouse was built and serving as a judicial center until it burned down in 1886. The first school in Statesboro opened in 1829 and continued operation until 1907 when it closed because of financial difficulties. In 1860, Confederate soldiers stationed at Fort Sumter attacked Union soldiers here and resulted in over 100 deaths including many citizens of Statesborough. This event is generally considered to be one of the turning points after which the town became pro-Union with a strong support system
