In 1886, a group of farmers in Richmond Hill founded the Richmond Hill Coffee Company. The company was started by Abe Beasley and Harry Whetstone. In 1898, the company became a registered business with the Georgia state legislature. By 1902, the company had produced over 2 million pounds of coffee. In 1912, the company merged with another coffee company in Chattanooga to form the Tennessee Coffee Corporation. In 1916, the Tennessee Coffee Corporation built a cooperative mill in Kingsport, TN which became one of the largest mills in Tennessee. In 1948, the Richmond Hill Coffee Company merged with Peet's Coffee to form Peet's-Richmond Hill Coffee Company Incorporated. In 1969, Peet's-RichmondHillCoffeeCompany Incorporated changed its name to Starbucks Corporation effective October 1st of that year pursuant to section 12 of The Coca Cola Companies Act 1968 (UK). On September 22nd 1997 Starbucks Corporation entered into an agreement with Dutch coffeeshop chain Krombouw to open two stores located inside Krombouw's Amsterdam Business Park premises - one store would be situated on Amstelveen Street and one store would be situated on de Lange Straat. This allowed Starbucks to operate three Dutch Coffeeshops within five miles of its UK headquarters - this represented growth for Starbucks as it began franchising its products outside of England and Scotland

This coffee was created using only 50 pounds of beans per hour and it cost $0.50 per pound. The popularity of small batch coffee continued to grow throughout the 1960s until larger businesses started producing their own versions of this type of coffee in the 1970s when they realized that they could make more money with their product than selling smaller batches of their own brand name coffees.

Richmond Hill is a census-designated place in Fulton County, Georgia, United States. The population was 2,821 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Atlanta metropolitan area. Richmond Hill was founded in 1828 by Scotsman John Robertson and his family as a small hamlet on the edge of what is now Fulton County. In 1892, Richmond Hill was named after British Prime Minister William Ewart Gladstone and became one of his official residences. The town grew rapidly during the 19th century due to its location on good farmland close to major transportation arteries such as the Intracoastal Waterway and Savannah Railway. By 1870, there were over 100 businesses in town and it had a population of 575. The Panic of 1893 caused a significant decline in business activity but Richmond Hill continued to grow rapidly through World War I until it reached its peak with 1,500 residents in 1920. However, during World War II Richmond Hill saw an increase in wartime housing construction due to the country's need for military personnel and their families. At the time of its peak in 1945, Richmond Hill had 4,000 residents and 50 businesses. However, following World War II characterized by large-scale unemployment and declines in business activity throughout much of south Georgia, especially within rural areas near Atlanta,,the community declined significantly over the next few decades until reaching its currentual level only after 2000 when it began experiencing growth again from new development around Interstate 95 (I-95).
Richmond Hill is a city in Fulton County, Georgia, United States. The population was 5,822 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Atlanta metropolitan area. The first settlers in what would become Richmond Hill were planters and merchants who came from South Carolina in the early 1800s. They began to purchase land southeast of Atlanta and built their homes on ridge-tops overlooking the Chattahoochee River. In 1853, they organized themselves into a town charter and named it after their home state of Virginia. The town grew rapidly due to its excellent transportation connections and its location near two major railroad lines. By 1871, Richmond Hill had a population of 20 residents and was growing rapidly thanks to new businesses, churches, schools, and other infrastructure developments. In 1892, Richmond Hill became an incorporated city with a mayor-council government under which it continued to grow until 1970 when it reverted back to a town government with a single Mayor/Council entity under which it has since grown even more vigorously again!
