During their deployments at NAS Atlanta sailors have had access to many different types of culture including music, fashion, artesanry (the manufacturing process used within naval architecture), food service, shopping malls/mallards/markets/, international partners (both local and foreign), education opportunities such as college degrees or advanced training programs For example; during wartime duty submariners were able to complete submarines missions off Spain’s Valencia coast where they enjoyed traditional Balearic cuisine while ashore; after hostilities ended submariners manned USS Boxer (LPH-8) outfitting shipyards along America’s Eastern seaboard; Sailors at NAS San Diego received instruction in sailboat handling from Commander Ulysses S Grant III himself before his death in 1865; Upon returning from deployment Fleet Air Arm personnel disembarked their Boeing 707 aircraft at NAS Long Beach California before embarking on round trip flights back home aboard USS Enterprise (CVN-6)

The ship arrived at anchor off the coast of Mexico City and was reactivated as a warship. On November 1st, 1898, the Constitution sailed from Vera Cruz, Mexico for San Diego. There she underwent repairs before going into service with the Pacific Fleet on December 15th. She served in Hawaiian waters until January 1899 when she returned to American waters and made her way to Manila Bay where she stopped to pick up supplies for forces fighting in Spanish America. She arrived back in Pearl Harbor on February 14th and was decommissioned on March 5th. On April 10th, 1899 she was sold to James Mclntyre for $3 million. She now resides at sea still being used by the Navy as a training vessel.

During World War II, Marietta played an important role as an airfield for bomber activity inside North America fighting against Nazi Germany and Japan. In 1755, a group of Georgians led by General James Ogle returned from the French and Indian War with the news of a vast colony in North America. The Georgia Convention voted to set up a government in what is now Marietta, Georgia. In 1778, the first constitution was ratified in what is now Marietta. The town continued to grow and develop until around 1850 when it became an incorporated city under the ordinance of 1851.
