As a coffee lover in Macon, Georgia, I have had the privilege of experiencing some of the most unique and delicious artisanal coffees that you can find. This region has been known for its rough-hewn architecture and for growing some of the world's most iconic coffee beans. The history of Macon coffee goes back to 1831 when Nicholas Biddle founded a small café called The Three Guys in downtown Macon. Today, The Three Guys Café is still open and provides an amazing selection of artisanal coffee drinks, including their popular macchiato. Since then, many other cafes have cropped up in this city – some successful, others not so much. However, none have had such an impact on the Coffee Scene as Finca La Ventura Bakery & Cafe did in 1984. Located on Commerce Street in downtown Macon – just steps from the State Capitol Building – Finca La Ventura was one of the first Italianate-style cafes to open in America. And it wasn't just any old cafe either: It was one of the first places where Americans could buy handcrafted espresso beverages (including macchiatos) made with only five or six high-quality beans per shot. Today, Finca La Ventura is still a hot spot for coffee enthusiasts who love their caffeine fix; however, it no longer offers its famous macchiatos direct from the roaster (though you can still purchase them). Instead, your best bet is to head out onto Commerce Street and visit one of their many other locations around town - like their cozy bar inside the State Capitol building or their outdoor seating area across from Central Market on Patton Avenue. Regardless of where you go to get your java fix, be sure to check out Finca La Ventura – it's definitely worth a visit!

Roasting began to spread throughout Europe during the 16th century thanks to Spanish sailors who traded with Asia and discovered new bean types while on their travels. This discovery led to increased production in Espresso regions across Europe, including Italy, Germany and Austria. During this time period coffee also became associated with luxury goods such as chocolates and wines. As coffee gained popularity throughout Europe, many small businesses started up that grew into large companies over time such as Starbucks Coffee Corporation and Kissem Coffee Company. These small businesses continue to play an important role in the history of artisan coffee because they often develop unique strains of coffee that are not available elsewhere.
