Jesup, Georgia is a small town in the state of Georgia. It has a population of just over 2,000 people and it is home to the Jesup Coffee Company. The coffee company was founded in 1906 by J.D. Smith and his brother-in-law, C.H. Hargrave. The coffee company became successful and began selling its products all over the United States. In 1976, the Jesup Coffee Company merged with another coffee company, The Roastery, to form Roasted Joe's Coffee Co., Incorporated (RJC). RJC continued to make great coffee even after forming separate businesses outside of Georgia. Today, Roasted Joe's Coffee Co., Incorporated makes excellent cups of coffee both in Japan and in the United States of America (USA).

Jesup began as a small community in 1837 on the Chattahoochee River. The town was named for Major General James Fenton, who had been responsible for the defense of Chattanooga during the American Civil War. The first post office was established in 1839, and by 1850, Jesup had a population of around 100 people. By 1860, Jesup had become an important commercial center due to its location on the river and its access to markets in Nashville and Atlanta. In 1865, Jesup became part of the newly created Union County, Georgia. In 1868, it was renamed Jesup Township after John H. Jessop, one of the founders of the township. In 1903,Jesup Township merged with four other townships to form Jackson County. In 1967, Jesup was placed within Macon County pursuant to a state government reorganization which eliminated most independent county governments in Georgia. As part of this changeover process, Macon County consolidated all of its rural municipalities into six individual jurisdictions: Cherokee City/County Court; Columbus City/County Court; Ector/Unionville Municipal Court; Gatlinburg City/Gatlinburg Municipal Court; Knoxville Municipal Court; and Smyrna Municipal Court (formerly known as Cumberland County). As a result of this consolidation process, Jesup lost much of its importance as a commercial center and developed instead into an agricultural community with a few small businesses located throughout the township.
Jesup is a city in Fulton County, Georgia, United States. The population was 16,362 at the 2010 census. Jesup is the county seat of Fulton County and it is also the home of Kennesaw State University. The first permanent European settlement in what would become Jesup was made by John Campbell in 1763 when he founded a small trading post on the Chattahoochee River. The post served as a base for operations until 1811 when Presbyterian missionaries established themselves in what would become Jesup. In 1820, Jesup was incorporated as a town under the name of Athens; however, this name only lasted until 1828 when it changed to Jesup because of its location on the Yellow Creek. In 1845, Jesse Jacobs purchased land east of downtown from Andrew Johnston and began construction on what would become Kennesaw State University; this university remains one of the most prestigious in America today with over 100 colleges and universities affiliated with it including Alabama A&M University, Arkansas Tech University, Berry College, Bible College/University Press Publishing Company (now Baptist Press), Clemson University, Dillard School of Louisiana Academy & Business Administration (now Louisiana Delta Community College), Eastern Kentucky Univ., FaulknerInstitute for American Research(now Southern Adventist Univ.), George Washington Univ./Marquette Univ., Holy Cross Coll., Indiana Wesleyan Univ./Elmira Coll., Lafayette Coll./New York Wesleyan U., Mercer Univ./Louisiana Tech U., Morgan State U./Georgia Southern U., New England Institutes of Technology/Brown Institute(now Brown Mackie & Co.), Northern Illinois St/Chicago St.(Now part of Northeastern Illinois University)--the list goes on--making Jessups one of largest continuous urban areas in America with over 2 million people living within its borders at any given time! After much discussion among state legislators and citizens alike about whether or not to make Jesup an international airport serving all Georgia via Concourse C which had been proposed by then-Governor Nathan Deal but never brought to fruition due to financial issues (and now known as Terminal 3 at Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Airport), voters passed a referendum approving an airport that would be located next door to Kennesaw StateUniversity! This airport became known as "JesUP" after initial planning efforts led by Mayor Tom Hickson and later elected City Councilman Rick Hendrix who spearheaded development and oversaw expansion plans throughout the years culminating with the current campus complex that opened in 2001. It should be noted that while many aspects have changed since those early days such as technology advances (including various incarnations through various airports serving different parts of Georgia) there has never been anything like an open-air shopping mall or high school built within walking distance or near everything that makes up today's city limits - something which cannot be said about other major metropolitan areas throughout North America! Jesupid has always been home to some notable residents including three Governors: Nathan Deal (1948-1951), Sonny Perdue (2002-2006) and Nathan Deal Jr.'s son Jonathan ThornberryDeal who currently serves as Governor effective January 1st 2019 As well as several memberships within numerous professional organizations including Alpha Phi Omega fraternity house siting adjacent to downtown which once housed local TV station WXIA television studios during day hours making it easy for students inside or outside to view live programming from around town
From the early days of coffee drinking to the present, there has been a significant history of coffee drinking and brewing. In fact, coffee has been around for over 2,000 years! The first known reference to coffee was in Egyptian papyrus dating back to 3000 BC. Coffee wasn't popularized in Europe until the 16th century AD when it was introduced from Africa by Portuguese traders. Coffee gardens were established in Spain and Italy during this time as a way for Europeans to get their hands on some of the best beans. The popularity of espresso increased in the late 18th century when Giovanni Battista Canova designed an opera house with a large cupola that could serve as a source of caffeine morning tea for theater goers. This led to more people beginning to enjoy espresso for breakfast or afternoon tea instead of just dinnertime or overnight drinks. By 1800, even primary schools were serving caffeinated drinks such as café au lait and cappuccino along with meals. In 1949, Dutch brewer Philips Brewing Corporation developedFilterBlend technology which allowed brewers to blend different types of beans into one beverage- espresso, Turkish black (Teavana), latte (Lark), macchiato (McCormick) and cappuccino (Nespresso). This gave birth to what is now considered international standard beverages like lattes and cappuccinos- all made with ground espresso beans rather than individual shots/espressos purchased at different cafés or restaurants.
