Hinesville was founded in 1824 by John Hines Jr., a planter who had come to Georgia from Boston with his family. At first it was only a small village, but within two years its population had grown to about 100 people. John Hines Sr., John's son, died in 1829 and John Jr.'s widow took over running the community. She named it after her late husband's brother-in-law, Daniel Webster Hine (1786-1859), an Albany Democrat who had served as U.S. Senator from New York during the Whig party's brief time in control of that state before being defeated by Jacksonian Democrats in 1828. Daniel Webster Hine is best known for his role as moderator of the United States Senate debates on slavery duringthe American Civil War (1861-1865). In addition to his political career, Daniel Webster also played an important role as president pro tempore ofthe United States Senate from 1830 until he resigned due to service as Chief Justice of New York City following reelection in 1835). After Daniel Webster Hine's death, his wife ruled the community for many years until she passed away in 1850; then Control went out through maternal lines to three daughters before passing it down again through female heirship to her youngest daughter Margaret Mclntyre Price (1907-1986) until finally being passed down again through female line once more to my grandmother Anna Price Humphrey (1911-1979).

On November 1 that yearAtlanta platted an area bounded by Third Street (now Dunwoody Boulevard), Fourth Street (now Ponce de Leon Avenue), Court House Square (now Vincent Park), Fulton Avenue (now Peachtree Road), and Marietta Avenue which would become known as Midtown Atlanta. As part of streetcar suburb policy enacted duringAtlanta's streetcar heyday under Mayor George DeLoach in 1903-1904, all new streetcar suburbs must include at least one station within one block radius of their respective streetside libraries or commercial districts; this included Midtown Atlanta where Atlantans could now walk to their jobs adjacent to what would become OneGeorgia Plaza shopping center on Druid Hills Drive near Centennial Olympic Park With Atlantans increasingly commuting into downtown from every corner of town via mass transit during this time period - starting with buses running along Second Street east to First Street south before turning north on Constitution Avenue - Honesville lost its status as an important financial center due to its relatively low density compared to other areas around town such as Downtown Atlanta or Midtown Atlanta However by 1990 – less than ten years after its incorporation – it had regained some lost ground due again largely to suburban expansion into central Cobb County happening outside its borders spearheaded by newlyweds Donald Trump and Melania Knauss who purchased 4 acres north side Of Stadium Drive just east off I-285 just outside current boundaries walls Village Green Shopping Center . In 2000 they built Trump International Golf Club & Resort which has since added 5 more acres bringing total property size up to almost 10acre making it also one of most valuable golf courses in America
