There is no doubt that Forest Park, GA has a strong coffee history. The first coffee house in Forest Park was opened in 1892 by J.B. Drew and his wife Mary. This coffee house became known as the Coffee House of the Arts and was frequented by artists and musicians such as Georgia O'Keeffe, W. C. Fields, and Fannie Lou Hamer. In 1922, the Drew family sold their coffee house to Harry Sines who operated it until his death in 1936. During this time, the Coffee House of the Arts became known as Sines's Coffee Shop which continued to serve coffee until 1957 when it was closed down due to lack of customers. In 1937, Forrest Kelley purchased Sines's Coffee Shop and renamed it The Forrest Kelley Coffee House which continues to serve coffee today (although not always open). In 1951, Kelley began brewing his own beans and started selling them at The Forrest Kelley Coffee House. Over time, additional businesses have been established withinForestPark including Butternut Grill (1995),wildcraft Brewing Company(2002),The Engadget Brewery(2006),Cupcake Cafe(2009),andthe Gourmet Café(2012). Today, Forest Park is home to many popular cafes such as Cupcake Cafe (which serves cupcakes from all over the world) or Gourmet Café where you can enjoy delicious foods like salads or pasta dishes from around the world. It is also an excellent place to enjoy a cup of Joe while spending time with friends or family - there are plenty of places to find good quality coffee without having to leave your home!

The first coffeehouses in Forest Park were The Three Fords, which opened in 1819. In 1830, the First Baptist Church built a small building on the northeast corner of High and G Streets. This was the first church in Forest Park. A few years later, The General Store opened on High Street and became the first grocery store in Forest Park. In 1836, Congress passed an act authorizing the erection of a post office in Forest Park. On July 1, 1836, the post office was established at 5th and G Streets by Samuel Pemberton. The first mail item to be delivered through this post office was a package of coffee from Brazil that arrived on October 4, 1836. In 1865, J D French leased land at 7th Avenue and G Street for a coffeehouse known as The Coffee House. This location served as home to many different businesses over time until it closed its doors in 1984. In 1895-96, Forrest Hogg founded The dearly departed Café du Nord located at 12 Glen Road near what is now I-285/I-85 interchange also serving as a restaurant for many years afterwards before being sold to private interests and being razed around 2006 or 2007 according to some sources however others say 2008 when it reopened with new ownership At one point between 1907-1920 there were 8 cafes operating throughout downtown Atlanta all under one roof called "Café Americano". These cafes served up java (coffee) pastries such as croissants etc., which were popular among Atlantans during that time period because they could not find anything like this back then anywhere else - especially east coast cities such as New York City or Boston where most people got their morning caffeine fix from tea or milk products only
Forest Park is a small town in Fulton County, Georgia, United States. The population was 449 at the 2010 census. Forest Park has a mix of forested and developed areas with rolling hills in the center of the community. It is home to the Fort Snelling National Cemetery and the Forest Park Elementary School. The first settlers in what is now Forest Park were farmers who moved from Tennessee to central Georgia in 1837. A post office called Forrest was established in 1845, and by 1860 it had grown to include land around present-day Forest Park. In 1865, a railroad line was built through central Georgia and Forrest became one of its stations. The town grew rapidly after this development, and by 1870 it included over 100 homes. The first school in Forest Park was opened in 1872 as an addition to local farm schools. By 1900 there were six schools in ForestPark which served grades K-8th inclusive; three for white students and three for black students (one operated as a day school). In 1906, the Atlanta Institute of Technology opened its doors on Saint Andrews Drive (now Macon Road) within spitting distance of downtown Atlanta; this made Forrest park one of two towns east of downtown that received technical education (the other being Decatur). In 1916, Forrest park was annexed into Fulton County; but because it consisted mostly of rural land south of downtown Atlanta including parts near Macon Road – where Atlantans would go shopping during their lunch hour – little changed until after World War II when much forested acreage outside town gradually came under cultivation as part of suburban growth throughout Fulton County; allogeneic citizens from inner city neighborhoods began moving into these new developments elsewhere while old timers such as those still living on rural property continued to commute intoAtlanta for jobs Downtown No matter how many times I drive through Forestpark or look out my window at my house on Hermitage Rd., I can't escape feeling like I'm watching my own neighborhood change hands just metres away from my doorstep
When people think of coffee, most often they think of beans. Coffee beans are the ground up material that is used in making coffee. There have been many different kinds of coffee since humans first tasted it. Some of the earliest and most well-known coffee was Arabica, which is a type of bean that is grown in the Middle East. Other types include Java, Italian Roast, and Papua New Guinea Coffee. The first Europeans to taste coffee were sailors sailing off the coast of Africa in 1492. They discovered what they thought was a type of fruit called an acacia and named it "caffe" for short because it had no hint of bitterness or flavor. The Dutch began to trade with Arabia in the 16th century and started to learn about coffee from these spices traders. So when Hernando Cortez discovered Mexico City in 1519 he knew there must be something special going on because nothing else could explain all those beautiful architectures! Cortez's trip also led him to find one of the world's first secure seaports – Acapulco – where Spanishmen could trade with all sorts of strange places without fear of piracy or being robbed by local Indians. In 1521 he founded Mexico City as part of a new coalition against Spain called The United States Of America (USOA). When Columbus saw Mexico City for the first time he decided this place must be completely different from his old home Cuba because there wasn't anything like it anywhere else on Earth! He named Colónico after Christopher Colombus himself! After arriving back in Spain he reported his findings back to Ferdinand Magellan who then sent another expedition to explore America further but they never made it across the ocean! Honduras finally became part OF USOA after Mexican independence was granted in 1821!! So now we know why our favorite countries drink so much espresso: It's all thanks to our favorite bean!
The first coffee beans were roasted by a man called Mesopotamia in the year Sidonius Apollinus, 263 BC. The Phoenicians traded with Arabia and the Africans who brought them coffee. In India, they tasted the drink for the first time in 327 BC when Buddhist monks traveled through Afghanistan and Kashmir to visit Bactria (present day Iran) on their way to India. They brought back seeds of the bean with them and planted them in an area that is now known as Baghdad. From there, coffee spread throughout Central Asia, Persia (today's Iran), Anatolia (modern Turkey), Syria, Lebanon and Jordan before reaching England in 1785 AD.
It is hard to overestimate the significance of Forest Park in Georgia history. The park was a key part of the state's social and political infrastructure for more than a century. It was also an important resource for the agricultural community, providing enough trees and plants to support sizable herds of cattle and other livestock. In recent years, Forest Park has become a popular tourist destination, with its lush forests, rolling hills, and beautiful lakeside walks. The first African American to live in Forest Park was John Wesley Hardin in 1881. Hardin worked as a gardener at the park until his death in 1902. After he died, his wife Lucille moved into the house that he had built on land adjacent to the park. She continued to live there until her death in 1966. In 1906, the Georgia General Assembly designated Forest Park as one of five national parks that would be created under President Theodore Roosevelt's New National Parks Act. The designation helped preserve Forest Park as an important natural resources center for Georgians across the state. The park saw significant development during World War II, when it became home to several military bases and munitions factories. However, most of these activities were discontinued after 1945 due to regulation bythe US Department of Agriculture (USDA). After World War II ended, many people began looking for ways to improve Forest Park so it could serve as another valuable resource for Georgians statewide. In 1949, Atlanta city planners recommended that Forest Park be turned into a national forest open to all citizens regardless of race or income level. This recommendation led to further improvements over time – including installation of public transportation within the forest and creation of playgrounds and other recreational facilities accessible from any location within it. Today,ForestPark is an important resource for Georgians throughout southeastern Georgia – both inside and outside its borders."
In 1883, Forest Park was founded as a land grant from the Georgia General Assembly. The park was originally named after Grady County in which it lay, but became dedicated to Forrest Park after General James Forrest purchased the land in 1884. The Forrest family donated beech and oak trees to the park in 1907. In 1916, Forest Park was designated a National Historic Landmark.
