The history of artisan coffee begins with the first coffeehouses in Philadelphia. These were small, one-roomed businesses that served a single type of coffee: French press coffee. artisan coffee began to gain popularity in the early 1800s as a result of its unique flavor and quality. In 1814, Philadelphia's first café, The Coffee House, opened and served French press coffee. This cafe became an authority on all things espresso and helped pioneer the modern drip cup coffeemaker. OtherPhiladelphia cafes followed suit, beginning to serve artisanal blends of different roasts and flavors as well as espresso drinks made with local milk and cream. By 1830, there were over 20 cafes serving french press beans alone in Philly! As artisanal coffee grew more popular throughout North America, so too did its demand for specialized equipment and expertise needed to produce it at scale. One such company was Mr. Coffee (founded in 1855), which pioneered the use of kettles (pots) for brewing "single origin" or specific types of coffees like Ethiopian Yirgacheffe and Guatemalan Altiplano beans. By 1907, Mr. Coffee had built up a large commercial empire across North America that included more than 100 stores selling their signature European-style roast java products along with variants like Dutch Style Roast Java (made with whole bean Turkish black pepper). With this success came increased competition from national chains like Dunkin' Donuts and Starbucks who quickly began purchasing vast delegations of Mr. Coffee properties across the United States

It is the second most populous city in Fulton County after Atlanta and it is one of the fastest-growing cities in America. Forest Park is a community in Fulton County, Georgia, United States. The community was established on a farmstead owned by John and Sarah Finch in 1851. It became an incorporated town in 1907. In 1916, the city of Atlanta annexed Forest Park and added it to its limits. As of the 2010 census, Forest Park had a population of 482 people. The first settler in Forest Park was John Finch, who arrived from England in 1851. He built a house on the farmstead which he named "Finch's Grove." The house remained standing until 1906 when it was replaced by a new one which stands today as part of the city limits of Atlanta. The first school in Forest Park was opened in 1857 by Mrs. Polly Hartsfield and her five children. The school closed due to financial difficulties two years later but re-opened again in 1861 under the name "Grace Academy." On July 1, 1907, Fort Street School became an independent School District #3 with responsibility for all education within the boundaries of Atlanta including Forest Park. In 1916, after being annexed into the City of Atlanta, Fort Street School merged with neighboring Griggs Elementary School to form Griggs-Fort Street Elementary School which remains today as one ofAtlanta's largest public schools providing pre-kindergarten through eighth grade education to over 2200 students from eighty-six buildings on six campuses across three counties: Fulton (north), DeKalb (south), Clayton (west) and Gwinnett (east).

The Forest Park area of Georgia was settled in the early 1800s by Europeans. The land was purchased from the Cherokee Nation and soon became a part of the United States. In 1924, Forest Park was created as a result of the Georgia General Assembly's Act No. 9. It is one of two cities in Atlanta metropolitan area and is located on the eastern edge of Downtown Atlanta. Today, Forest Park is home to more than 50 parks, including Arthur Ashe Stadium, which hosted the first international basketball game in 1978. The city also hosts several world-renowned museums, such as The American Museum of Natural History and The Smithsonian Institution.
