Coffee has been a part of the American culture for over 125 years. The first coffeehouses were opened in New York City in 1795. In 1818, a shop called The Coffee House was established in Philadelphia and started serving coffee from small distances away from the city center. In 1840, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Dennison opened the first commercial café in Fayetteville, Georgia which became known as The Daily Review Coffee House. It was here that people could come to eat, drink and read newspapers before going off to work or playing games around town. In 1862, The Daily Review closed its doors after a short tenure due to financial troubles but it reopened in 1865 under new management with General John A. Logan as its manager. In 1886, when Jerald Huggins bought the business he decided to name it The Jacksonville Coffee House after Jacksonville, Florida where he had originally grown up on his family's plantation. After some changes of ownership and several expansions throughout the 20th century it went through another expansion until it occupied more than one million square feet across three floors at 350 N Broad Street between 1979-1982/2003-2004 during which time it also changed its name to Jacksonville Coffee & Tea Company Inc., later United States Coaster Corporation (USCC) then back to Jacksonville Coffee & Tea Company Incorporated (JCTC). USCC relocated their business operations from Fayetteville, Georgia to Daytona Beach, Florida in 1984 but JCTC continued operations out of Fayetteville until 2006 when they moved their entire business operation into an all new building at 301 W Main Street #1009 inside UTC Arena which is now home to both JCTC and University of Tennessee Athletics Dept./Tennessee Titans football team

Fayetteville is a city in the U.S. state of Georgia, on the Savannah River. The population was 59,795 as of the 2010 census, making it the 11th largest city in Georgia and its third-largest city by population after Atlanta and Athens. It is also one of the most populous cities in the Southeast United States. Fayetteville was founded by General Andrew Pickens on May 17, 1814 as a small post on cognition Creek east of what is now downtown Fayetteville. A more permanent settlement was established in 1820 when Captain John Smith's group discovered oil rich land to the south near what is now Enterprise Road and Patton Boulevard. In 1821, Colonel Nathan Bedford Forrest purchased 1,000 acres (400 hectares) around present day Fayetteville from Andrew Pickens for $5 per acre ($100 million at current prices). The town began to grow rapidly with new businesses opening up to service the new land: cotton plantations, fisheries, flour mills and stores soon followed. By 1830 there were over 50 businesses active in Fayetteville with a population of 5,000 people. However, because much of this area lay within Cherokee Nation territory at that time, no white people were allowed to live or work in Cherokee Territory without permission from tribal leaders. As a result of this policy enforcement became difficult and many Cherokee residents attempted to settle outside Cherokee Territory where they could enjoy better living conditions and access to education opportunities unavailable within their own homeland
Fayetteville, Georgia was founded in 1799 by Captain James Wright and settlers from the British colonies of Carolina and Virginia. The town's first Mayor was John Simcoe. Fayetteville quickly became a popular agricultural center with its plentiful forests and rolling hills. By 1865, however, it had become known as a "lost city" due to its lack of infrastructure and residents' departure for more developed areas during the war. Today, Fayetteville is home to several historical museums including the USS Constitution Museum, which tells the story of America's first warship; and First Tennessee Regiment Museum which honors African Americans who served in the Union army during the war.
