Cordele is a city in the U.S. state of Georgia, located on the Chattahoochee River. The population was 23,453 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Chatham County and home to the University of Georgia's School of Architecture and Planning. The first settler in Cordele was David Nason in 1793. Cordele was founded by Captain John Smith in 1805 as a trading post on the Chattahoochee River for hunting, fishing, and trade with Native Americans. In 1810, it became known as "the most important commercial center on the river". The town was named after General Andrew Jackson who had died during his military campaigns in Tennessee before setting off for what would become Georgia. In 1826, cordele became part of newly created Chatham County when it was split from Fulton County. At that time, it had a population of only around 100 people; by 1830, its population had grown to 1,200 people with an artillery mill built and operations began which remain operational today. The mills produced flour for local markets and textiles were also manufactured here including blue jeans made famous by Levi Strauss & Co.; Confederate uniforms; saddles; wagon parts; boots; hats; and other items until World War II when production switched to aircraft parts due to wartime shortages abroad During World War II, Cordelle played an important role as a munitions production center for Atlanta thanks to its location near Lakehead Airlines' factory on Peachtree Road adjacent to US Army Air Field Slaton AFB In 1945-1946 Cordelle saw heavy bombing raids from both Japan and Germany resulting in extensive damage including severe fires that destroyed much of downtown In 1949-1950s Cordelle experienced minor riots over charges brought against white businessmen accused of discriminating against black workers After desegregation efforts accomplished through legislation passed by then Governor (and future President) George Wallace in 1960-1962 cordele's economy bounced back quickly with new development becoming established such as shopping malls which continue to thrive today

Since then, different countries have had their own significant contributions to the history of espresso and coffee as a whole. Ethiopia is considered to be the birthplace of espresso, where it was first brewed as an infusion for tea in the 1500s BC according to some sources. Italian traders discovered coffee beans growing wild near Asmara, Eritrea in the 16th century and introduced them back into European markets with trade goods such as java powder (a blend of ground Arabica and Robusta beans) beginning around 1600 AD. Dutch traders also began importing coffee from Ethiopia between 1650-1680 AD which eventually led to its spread throughout much of Europe (particularly England). Coffee was originally consumed as a beverage only within specific social circles or villages due to its high costliness back then compared to other crops like rice or corn. However, over time people starting appreciating how delicious and refreshing espresso can be when enjoyed fresh off the roast - something that has greatly contributed towards its current popularity across most cultures around the world!

Cordele is a city in the U.S. state of Georgia and the county seat of Muscogee County. The population was 21,501 at the 2010 census. Cordele's history dates back to 1802 when it was part of the Cherokee Nation. In 1907, it became an incorporated city and in 1959, it merged with Muscogee County to become Cordele-Muscogee County. The town of Cordele was founded by white settlers in 1802 as part of the Cherokee Nation after they were forced out of their previous lands by Creek Indians. The first settler in what is now Cordele was John Gentry, who arrived in 1803 from Tennessee. Gentry started a small farm that he named "Gentry's Grove". He also built a log cabin on his property which served as his home until1806 when he traded his land for a tract of land east of Muscochee River that included present-day Cordele and portions of Leary and Walton counties. In 1807, Gentry married Rebecca Woodruff, who had been born about 1790 near modern day downtown Muscochee City (now Weatherford). They lived on their farm for about 10 years before moving to what is now eastern Muscochee Township where they built another log cabin known as "Old Gentry's Cabin". They continued to live there until around 1830 when they moved westward into present-day Walton County where they followedGS family tradition and planted cotton crops. From this experience, Rebecca learned how to cultivate cotton while her husband learned how to trade goods with other tribes across the Southeast frontier during this time period. Randy Blackmon purchased some rights adjacent to Old Gentry's Cabin from RebeccaWoodruff circa 1830s and began developing cordelia into a planned community site according to contemporary plans prepared by Captain James Cookson aboard HMS Beagle while exploringwest coast America in 1828-29 under Commander Robert Fitzroy - one such plan called for Coal Hill Village located southwest cornerofpresent dayMuscogeeCountyandnorthwest cornerofWalton Countysouth central areacontainingthechurch ,schoolhouse &a store/or post office withinthisvillage .Blackmon erectedthe first house on Coal Hill Village site circa 1840 .
