The Battalion provides gunfire support for troops fighting through thick jungle until they reach their destination where they serve as advisers and eventually take control of the area after days of combat. The unit deployments continue with periodic deployments year round with different assignments including humanitarian aid work, counter-terrorism operations, or exercises with other branches of service worldwide while still maintaining its traditions of brotherhood and community service within Cedartown Township limits. Cedartown, Georgia is a small town in the U.S. state of Georgia. The population was 1,521 at the 2010 census. Cedartown is located on the Chattahoochee River, south of Chattanooga and east of Aiken. The community was founded in 1868 by John Hartsfield and named for him, Cedartown Heights. The first settlers in Cedartown were James Garland and his family who arrived from Kentucky in 1868. In 1870, Isaac Morse moved to Cedartown with his wife Sarah and their two children he had just born. He became a farmer and miller and died in 1895 after many years of farming and business endeavors in the area. His son-in-law Edward Taylor also moved to Cedartown during this time period and began operating a local grocery store which still exists today as the town's only business entity left from that era. In 1876 Margaret McMullen settled near what is now downtown Cedarta with her three young children: Mona (1875-1953), Earl (1877-1968) and Harry (1879-1965). She operated a general store until 1902 when she closed it down due to lack of customership; however, she continued to operate it as a museum until her death five years later at age 86 years old In 1881 Edward Fenton married Ora Hullinger at defendant's place on the Chattahoochee River; they soon began operating an agricultural store across from present day Walmart along Interstate 85 near milepost 27 It should be noted that this early pioneer couple did not own any land themselves but instead rented out space within one or more nearby homes/stores/ farms including those around where modern day Cadarta resides today They also built what is still standing on what would become our municipally owned property directly across I-85 from Walmart - this building now functions as both the cadarta library & historical museum

However, after 1957 when Interstate 85 was built through Cobb County, many residents left Cedartown for faster-paced lifestyles elsewhere in the county or for greater distances from downtown Atlanta.Today, Cedartown remains a small agricultural community with few commercial properties other than a few grocery stores and restaurants
