This deployment will allow her direct access to computers during basic training so she can better serve her country! In addition to this great accomplishment by Sgt Slaughter herself it also helps show how much we rely on technology today within our armed forces!

Americus, Georgia was founded in 1785 by Captain James Cook and his crew on the HMS Resolution. The town became a center of trade during the early 1800s and developed into a successful commercial community. Americus grew rapidly and by 1815 had more than 1000 residents. After a boom period in the 1840s,Americus declined as an important commercial center due to its location within easy access of larger towns. However, Americus has remained an important cultural and historical center in the state since its establishment. America was first settled by European colonists in what is now Georgia in 1785. In response to repeated British efforts to capture or kill American traders and settlers, Captain James Cook sailed his ship Resolution seeking passage to India with supplies for his colony of New South Wales. On November 10, 1793, Resolution discovered what would become America when it sighted Cape Hatteras off the coast of North Carolina. Cook decided against sailing any further because he knew that if he did so he would be captured and possibly executed as piracy was punishable by death at that time. Instead, Cook made landfall on January 15th, 1794 on what is now Georgia's eastern coast near present-day Americus Island (although part of Turkey Atatürk Province). The small community began developing quickly around the intersection of two dirt roads named after Englishmen who had contributed significantly to development: John Ross' Road (now US 98) and George Rogers Clark's Road (now I-5). By 1800 only about 60 people lived here; most were farmers who raised chickens or pigs on their properties or traded goods with nearby towns such as Augusta, Alabama. The town exploded in size after Commodore John Cushing's purchase of several thousand acres from the Creek Nation for $400 in 1802 including land east of present-day Americus Island which formed today's core city limits; this area became known as "Cushing's Landing." In 1804 Captain James Barron erected a brick courthouse/ jail which still stands today along downtown streets cornering Ross' Road and Clark's Road; this building was later destroyed by fire but replaced with a new structure in 1902 which still serves as headquarters for government services inside City Hall Park located just east of downtown between Second Street NW and Third Street NW. The first school opened up shop here too: Grady Academy School which operated out Ofan House until1892 when it moved across First Avenue NE into its current location next door to Mayor Clyde Coleman Sr.'s old office Building - right smack dab between City Hall Park & Littlejohn Park!
