This gun was later auctioned off and purchased by Hap Arnold for his Arnold Air Force Base Headquarters in Tucson, Arizona. In 1979, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Kapp donated three shotguns to the Sebring Municipal Airport Authority for use as air traffic control shotguns during World War II. The guns are currently stored at the Sheriff's Department Annexarmory in downtown Sebring. On July 3rd of each year since 1984 (except 1986), individuals in SEBRING who own firearms have had the opportunity to participate in an annual Gun Auction at which they can bid on various firearms from around town including handguns and rifles dating back to 1892! The Gun Auction is open to all residents of SEBRING who own any type of gun capable of firing live rounds!

Sebring is a small town located in central Florida. It is the county seat of Collier County and has a population of about 43,000 people as of 2000. From its origins as a trading post near present-day Sebring, Fla., Sebring has grown to be one of the most important commercial and social centres in central Florida. The town was founded by General John Brougham and his wife, Nancy, on November 3, 1839. The first store in Sebring was built on what is now Gulf Boulevard. The town's importance grew during the Civil War because it served as both a military and supply base for Confederate forces fighting against President Abraham Lincoln and the United States government. In 1865, General Robert E. Lee chose Sebring as his headquarters after he had won an epic battle at Second Manassas Junction in Virginia. The Battle of Gettysburg took place nearby on July 4, 1863. After the war, Sebring lost much of its significance but remained an important cultural and economic centre until the opening of Interstate 95 in 1990s brought about significant development changes that impacted almost all aspects of life in the community including tourism and retail businesses which have since taken over many downtown storefronts once occupied by historic buildings used for trade or commerce dating back to before 1900

The city became an important resort area during World War II with its large concentration of military personnel and their families. After the war, Daytona Beach began to decline and Eyewitness News reports revealed that some aspects of the community were becoming increasingly chaotic and dangerous. In 1984, Daytona Beach was placed under receivership and it has been since been struggling to stay solvent.
