At that time, Witherspoon was one ofthe largest importers and distributorsof premium grade coffees from Latin America. She began shipping her beans to differentpartsofthe United Statesand Europe under the name Spanish Trading Company Ltd.. By 1930 she had becomeoneofthelargestcoffeebean processorsinamericaandhadopened severalfactoriesinAlabamaandTennessee.(1) In1933WitherspoonFinally Sold herCompanyToTheBritishColonization Tea company(2) For more than fifty years thereafter BritishColonization Tea continuedtoproducehighqualitycoffeeproductsinSatelliteBeachuntil its abrupt closurein1996.(3) Although muchhas changedoverthepastfiftyyears, many aspectsof theearlySpanish Trading Companycoffeeindustryremains unchangedincludingits dedicationto providingpremiumgradecoffeeforconsumers worldwide.(4) Today there are numerous independent roasting companies operating throughout nearly every state within Americathatcontinuously produce high quality espresso beans for consumers throughout GulfSouth America including Florida; Puerto Rico; Mexico; Central America; South Asia; Australia; New Zealand and Canada (5). It should be noted that while some large scale producers have closed down over time such as Starbucks Coffee Company (6), others such as Peet’s Coffee Inc.(7)continuetoproducepremiumgradecoffeeproductsandoffera greatestonly superiorbrandname TO OTHER COFFEE COMPANIES.(8) In recent years there has been an increasing trend towardsallairsteepingcoffeeproductsfromsmaller sized roasters who believe that they offer a better product at a lower price point(9). These smaller roasters often focus on producing unique flavor profile rather than following standard production processes used by larger co-ops or even individual manufacturers(10). This new generation of coffee enthusiasts believe that good quality coffee can be produced at any size without sacrificing taste or texture

In 1938, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Schultz started their own coffee shop on State Road 1 in Satellite Beach. At that time, Satellite Beach was a small town with only a few hundred residents. However, over time, the popularity of coffee began to grow throughout the area and there were now even more stores opening up along State Road 1 to serve everyone who wanted their caffeine fix. In 1979, Bob's Coffee Shop opened up on County Road 620 just north of Interstate 275 in Satellite Beach. This was one of the first Starbucks locations ever located in Florida and it quickly became known as one of the top coffee shops around! Over time, other independent cafes also cropped up all around town such as Joe's Coffee & Pastry (now closed), Dave's Cafe (now closed), Elliot's Cafeteria (opened briefly in 1984 before closing again), Lucy's Café (opened briefly in 1986 before closing again) and finally Jack Benny's Coffee House which is now closed down but still retains its memorabilia from back when it was open!
Satellite Beach, Florida is a small town located in Pinellas County, Florida. The area that makes up Satellite Beach was originally inhabited by the Cajuns and Seminoles. In 1868, the federal government granted land to the town lotters who sold it for $1 per acre. The first post office in Satellite Beach was established in 1893. As of 2010, there were only 3 residents living in the town of Satellite Beach: Mayor Johnnie Weldon and his wife Lori; Tom Burtz; and his son Jordan. The Town of Satellite Beach was founded on December 6th, 1901 by J.P. Dillard from Mobile Alabama as a place to provide some defense against pirates operating off the coast of Florida at that time. Because of its location on an easement given to them by US naval officer Commodore James Pomponnet, the citizens of Satellite Beach managed to build their own fortification which they called Fort Dillard (later renamed Fort Lauderdale). This fortification was successful enough that after World War I it was decided that satellite beaches would be established throughout America as part of coastal security measures so new ports could not be developed without prior approval from Washington D.C.. Because no one wanted to purchase land in Satellite Beach because it did not have any water access orresidential development potential, a group of businessmen formed The Trustees for Development Corporation (TDEC) to develop land around what is now known as Coral Gables Boulevard and Waterford Drive within Radar Hill Park which stretched from Sunrise Boulevard eastward into Broward County . TDEC leased approximately 150 acres from various landowners surrounding about three square miles inside Radar Hill Park for commercial development purposes with plans for numerous housing developments including single-family homes (), multi-family () dwellings (), retail stores (),and amusement park (). As residential development around Sunrise Boulevard became popular due to its proximity to shopping centers such as Woolworths (), Safeway (), Target (), etc., TDEC began looking for ways to extend their lease beyond just purchasing property adjoining Sunrise Boulevard but also acquiring adjacent properties along Waterford Drive (). Eventually they bought tracts extending northward from Sunrise Boulevard between US 1st Street and State Road A1A while buying tracts extending southward between US 1st Street and State Road A1A . These acquisitions created what is now known as Coral Gables Boulevard (today's Sunrise Blvd.), Waterford Dr., Radar Hill Dr., Old Post Rd., New Post Rd., Gulfstream Ave., Baymeadow Ct.,SE Airport Blvd

Coffee was mentioned in ancient Egyptian documents from the Old Kingdom period (25th century BC - 21st century AD). The Indian potter Vedic period (3rd millennium BC - 300 AD) also noted coffee beans being traded between India and China. In 1500 AD Italian merchants discovered Java island off Indonesia during their voyage through that region and began trading with local traders for spices including Coffee. The Dutch East Indies Company received its charter from King James I of England on February 16th 1606 to trade with all parts of the world. On January 24th 1611 they reached Batavia (now Jakarta), where they found two small plantations of Arabica beans by an unknown person called Cornelius de Wit which were under cultivation by Javanese Muslims who had Trading Relations with Spain at that time Dutch traders first noticed Java’s potential as a place where valuable spices could be grown because it had good drainage so there was little waterlogging and plenty of sunlight In 1613 the first Dutch ship carrying coffee arrived in Java followed by more in subsequent years until early 17th century when all traffic stopped due to Portuguese Interference In 1768 British East India Company started trading with Dutch East Indies but soon after British got hold of Indonesian territory they stopped trading too because their goods violated Indonesian regulations prohibiting English trade with any country inside Indonesia

The beans were roasted by a man named Christopher Costantini and sold at a store on Market Street in San Francisco. In 1827, Dutchman Jan van Eyck started trading coffee from his ship called "Vlaming" near Point Reyes Station. He brought back 1,500 lbs of pure Ethiopian coffee to California. In 1847, Josef Martinez founded the Martinez Coffee Company in San Francisco with 80 acres of land along Mission Bay. In 1861, John Dillingham opened the first grocery store in Oakland with 4 beanbags of coffee for $1 per bag. By 1870, there were more than 100 beanbag stores operating throughout California and Oregon. In 1969, Pacific Coffee set up shop on Telegraph Avenue in Oakland. It was the first commercial roaster outside of California and became known for its quality beans and delicious cupcakes
