In 1928, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Weese opened their own store which became known as The Wrecking Yard. Their shop sold all types ofmarine gifts including books on navigation, sea chests with supplies for boating or just storing your treasures ashore, anchors, line markers and more! In 1941, The Weese's son-in-law Dr. Edward Fenton joined the family business and it continued under his ownership until 1978 when it was taken over by the current owners - Mr. & Mrs. Rick Blanchard!
